Picture for profile

Why can't I use a picture from my computer as my profile pic? It will let me use one from another website but not from my computer. I just want folks to be able to put a visualization to my posts.

Option 1 works but option 2 is faded out and won't work.....

i only show option for url also ...... ie8 xp pro

lis, click on the image icon in this thread and see what options you get. i've found different parts of the forum where you only get the url option. since that is what i mostly use anyhow i never worried about it before ......

amorcito ,for a long time help and support only gives me the option to post image from url ,

until there is a better answer there is an easy workaround. just upload your computer pic to TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting and use the given url ......

As a work-around you could upload a picture to some place like Photobucket or Tinypic and then link to that. Just have to make sure the image isn't too large or it will be rejected.

both options are working for avi and profile pic for me with ff 11, w 7, kirsch.

reply image icon only url for me.
