My kayfun 3.1 clone finally came in with the nemmy adapter for it and loving it! Love the hybrid look and running a twisted 28 gauge coil on it at just below 1 ohm. my first rta/rba and im in love

I love everything about that mod from the shape, finish, to the engravings, but what is the top cap and locking ring made of or plated with? It looks like gold plastic lol

Very good eyes. But i do not want to break them out just to discover they are plastic or not
I got it on Fasttech. There is no brand on it. Cheap but look good to me. Happy.
After many rewicking and recoiling of my Kayfun, I finally found a wicking method that does not leak (for me at least) when using different PG/VG ratio.
1) I made sure to have at least 2mm of space from the air vent and the coil.
2) When wicking cotton, cut exactly the height from the coil and the juice deck.
3) Flatten/paint the juice wall with saturated cotton on both sides.
Final product:
Not a drop or leak:
P.S. I always top fill plugging the air hole slowly pouring juice before the threads, put the top cap back on, turn it upside down and blow through your drip tip with a piece of tissue to catch some juice

KFL nano mode atop a Rai Vapes launcher. I brushed some of the tubing on the launcher, and might go for a thicker grit. This is my daily setup. I'm looking for more mods without a locking ring, as they're a hassle while driving. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
