I am satisfied with the build quality and overall performance. My biggest cons are poor battery life and extremely long charge time when charging through the device. You also have to use the supplied charging cable because the charging port is recessed.
I believe cloupor could have easily fit a 26650 in there

Yeah that's what I feared if it where 26650 I would have jumped on it. I really want an affordable regulated tube mod I'm tried of seeing box mods.

I also had one of the O-Rings on the Helios clone snap on me and I can't seem to find one the right size. It seems to need a 1mm thick o-ring, which my local hardware store didn't have...

Do you have something like a Grainger in your area? I'm a stage hand and I build all kinds of custom electrical/mechanical things and you should be able to find a suitable alternative from them.
