New toys. All clones. And I gotta say, this dirt cheap Hangsen "Holiday e-liquid" is shockingly decent. I mean, it's MORE than vapeable. Still don't have great builds (gettin' dry hits, but that's just because I haven't figured out the best rayon wick setup for these yet) in the Erl and Aqua II clones, but I'm getting there.

As for the mods themselves, all are pretty darn great! Especially liking the Glas and SMPL though.

Well I probably won't impress anyone, compared to some of the great looking stuff displayed here. But this my only set up for now. I guess you gotta start somewhere, this is mine.

We all started there, and it is a better starter set up than I started with.

My Congestus clone finally has a worthy topper. A giant Taifun GT! It's a fasttech/cloner thing, no logos, but it's exactly like a regular TGT, only hyooge! I like it a lot better than my giant kayfun clone. I've always been partial to the TGT anyway; they're just easier to deal with/build, and I find the taste and airflow slightly more to my liking. :)
Here's a needlessly over-processed photo I just took.

No fancy mods here, I've just made the switch to vaping and just have the basic starter kit I got from the local vape shop (Vape Game in Springfield, OR):

KangerTech EVOD VV 650 mAh variable-voltage battery
KangerTech EVOD2 clearomizer with 1.5ohm dual-coil atomizer head and 510 drip tip
unbranded USB charger
15ml bottle of in-house brand e-liquid (I chose "Base Nectar Menthol" in 6mg/ml)

...and a silicone tasting tip :). No carry case or anything, which was disappointing since I've seen them included in most other "starter kits" I've looked at. Normally they want $45 for the kit, but they were having a sale that day so it was $3 off. I also picked up a pack 5-pack of replacement atomizer heads for $13 (these are 1.8 ohms, even though the one that came in the clearomizer says 1.5?) And got $20 off the whole thing with a Groupon (which I paid $10 for in the first place) so in the end, I still paid that same $45 that they wanted initially, and basically got the replacement heads "for free" with the two discounts. Is this a decent rig for what I paid, or did I get taken for a ride?

You did great, both of those will give you a decent vape for a start. You definitely should get another battery though, with higher mAh That one will need charging a lot, and you need to have something to switch to while it's charging.

I started out with ego type batteries, which is what the Evod is, and it's what finally got me to switch from smoking.

Spinners are nice, because you can switch the voltage and they're simple, and the same format as your Evod, but even better is an iStick or MVP.

You always need at least two batteries.
