Do you know the amp rating of your switch?
Also, you are using a wired switch.... So not a mech [emoji14]
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
Then a mechenical box mod doesnt exist because you cant move the electricity without wires now you can in a tube because the negative is the tube but you cant have a box without wires so a mechanical box mod is a box with only 3 wires a negative wire that runs strait to the bottem a positive to the switch and a positive to the 510 and as for ypur statment before that its called paying attention in order for a battery to hit thermal runaway it must first get hot and i dont chain vape it i pick it up take a hit or three and go on about my life so there is no room for it to get hot enough to cause a problem

That's not true, they do exist, just happens that most box mods aren't, they are unregulated mods.....

Also, while not necessarily safe, people have been sub ohming below .1 fit some time, and if done "carefully" it can be ok. My biggest concern is your switch. Most switches aren't rated for the amperage you are pulling... There ones that actually are tend to be huge ugly things. That's the reason for the use of a mosfet. The amp load goes through it instead of the switch, so you can use a smaller more attractive switch without shorting it out :p

Here's a few of mine. I Just mirror polished my IPV Mini 2. It gets paint chips no matter how well you take care of it. Mine never left the house. Sat in a microfiber sun glass bag too. Terrible paint on the Mini's. Don't think I'll be purchasing any P4Y devices any time soon. Anyway, I do the 3M Vinyl wraps (I have a laser CAD cutter at work). And I make custom Lexan mod holders. Here's my collection of VW mods. I'll post my mech mod collection some other time. I have to go wrap my newly polished IPV Mini 2 in some CF Vinyl.

Don't wrap that ipv mini! It looks awesome that way.
I know what you mean about chips, mine is getting them left and right.
How did you polish yours that way, I may do that

I already just wrapped it. Looks really nice still though. I can deal with finger prints. I'll post a pic of it wrapped. I took it all apart, wet sanded it by startinf out with 500 grit (got all the black paint off), moved to 600 grit, then 1000 grit, then 1500 grit, then 2000 grit, then started polishing with my dremel tool and a few polishing wheels using various grit aluminum polish, moved to finishing polish and used a new buffing wheel. Used about 3 different finishing polishes and then put it back together.

It takes a lot of time, because I wanted mine to be absolutely flawless. But you could do yours brushed aluminum if you don't to spend HOURS wet sanding. I probably spent 4-5 hours making this thing a flawless mirror finish... no joke.

Here's a pic of it wrapped. I have all different colors since I make them. I may change the middle screen piece to black, not sure yet, could use some advise on that. What do you think?

And BTW, I almost thought of ditching the IPV Mini housing and making my own before I decided to polish it... but one thing led to another the other night and my OCD took over. lol

Ehh.. guess I need 5 posts before I can post a pic. I'll post one in a few. Think this may be my 4th or 5th anyway.
