Im having trouble with flavor on mine its getting frustrating. What taste awesome in my 454 has no taste in my hobo. Ive done 28g, 30g, 28g twisted, 30g twisted, single coil, duel coil, no air, max air, anywhere from 20 to 60 w. I dont normaly have issues with flavor ive been building for a year but this has kicked my .....

What's your build look like? How are your afcs set?
I haven't been really happy with mine yet.

I am really not pleased with mine I cant get any flavor from it. Clouds for days, no flavor. My hopes were a real small flavor dripper. Ive tride 6 or 8 different builds on two different regulated mods and a mech and it sucks. Im ready to throw out. I dont need help with clouds thats a given on a dripper, flavor is key for me.

Hmm interesting to hear dissatisfaction with the hobo. Maybe its just me but, but I have been pleased with the flavor/cloud balance. That being said it isn't my daily driver, so maybe its just different from what I'm generally vaping on. I was really displeased with my 454! To each their own I suppose, although I am sure I just haven't built the 454 optimally yet. Stovetop coils on the plumeveil were my diversion tonight. Generally unsatisfying.

I just rebuilt again and I am finally getting decent flavor. I think my coils were too big, the atty is soooo tiny. I used 30g twisted 6 wraps on a blue screwdriver single coil came out to 1.2 ohm's running at 25 watts which is 5.7v. Its not the best flavor ive had but its the best ive had since I got it. My 454 Is .50 with dual 8 wrap 30g twisted 2mm rod. I vape that around 4.8 to 5 volts on a raptor.

Hope that helps, I will put more effort in the hobo to see if I can improve anything.

It is! looking for a wooden matching drip tip is gonna keep me busy though :)

If you're handy with wood, why not get a piece of briar used for making pipes and carve your own? Better yet, why not find you some old used or estate pipes that you can pick up on the cheap and repurpose them? I can see encasing mods in briar to be a kick .... was to make some very beautiful accents for vaping gear. It may be a hard wood to work with but it can have some incredibly gorgeous grain and obviously stands up well to heat.

just brought her home....
using the 4s kit.....2.75mm airflow, PEEK insulator....
6wrap 24awg- purrs like a ferrari.....

Nice! Impressions on the v4 so far? Do you have any earlier Kayfun versions? If you do, how does the vaping experience compare?

I have the Kayfun Lite Plus v2 and sat for a hot minute on the checkout page to order the v4 but decided not to pull the trigger. Thinking of going for the Rose v2 instead but now I'm wondering if I lost out.
