Hmm interesting to hear dissatisfaction with the hobo. Maybe its just me but, but I have been pleased with the flavor/cloud balance. That being said it isn't my daily driver, so maybe its just different from what I'm generally vaping on. I was really displeased with my 454! To each their own I suppose, although I am sure I just haven't built the 454 optimally yet. Stovetop coils on the plumeveil were my diversion tonight. Generally unsatisfying.

Still was struggling with this atty not getting good flavor and was getting a plastic taste no matter what I did. I went as far as trimming the rubber grommet they used to insulate the center post. Well I ended up removing it and washing the entire atty out. The insulator at the top was rubber no doubt and has been melting every hit I took and was giving off a bad taste. What I did was if you look in this pic you will see the grommet they used to insulate the center post. The atty to the left is my fogger v4, I robbed the peek insulator from the bottom and put it in the top of the hobo. I had to remove some of the material to get it to fit I used a 5/32 drill bit to do this and I was able to get the two piece center post to come together. The plastic/chemical taste has since been removed, I am using a single 30g twisted coil at 1.1 ohm's around 20 to 25 watts and its ok. I think it can be better and will continue to work on a flavor build for it.

ScorpionMod.jpgThis is my mod I call The Scorpion----It is a Omega Mod with a Stillare Dripper--

--and bicycle handlegrip and Tractor Trailer glad hand seal which I use to pull top down against magnetic switch to fire it to keep fingers away from the heat---powered by one-18650 battery

I call it the Scorpion because I was adjusting the coils with bare fingers and accidentally leaned on the power button and it felt like I got stung by a scorpion--hahahahahh--Jerry

I attached 2 cellphone recharge power packs to this white Itaste and wound up with 5700 mahs--when Itaste starts showing yellow on the firing button I just turn on one of these batterys and it starts charging and returns to green color in a short time shown with Nautilus tank-jerry

First time i've seen that maroon color istick. :2cool: i've seen only silver, black, blue, pink. That kind of adds a + to me getting one, i just decided which color - if i could find it. i don't need an istick, i'm trying to decide on a dual battery box mod, but.....i have vape mod obsession. :2cool:
PS: Maybe it's the iSmart clone?
