Had to try Sacre' Coeur. It's unlike anything. At first you think "oh, strawberry....pie?" but that's quickly followed with a nice earthy tartness. I'm guessing that's the bourbon and rhubarb. I've only had rhubarb once, as an ingredient in a regular ol' strawberry pie, so I don't know how spot-on-rhubarby this is, but I definitely like it. A bit light, but this is the kind of flavor that, if pushed too hard, could be sickly. Moon Sugar is straight-up cinnamon sugar cookie. Not too subtle but definitely yummy.

And I'm on the fence about going through the hassle of ever building another nickel coil. What a complete PITA!!!!! But, with practice it should be easier. So I'll probably persevere despite myself. Or IN spite of myself. Or, potentially, specifically TO spite myself. Heh.

(as I stated in another thread, I have temporarily abandoned nickel builds in tanks. Just too frustrating right now. I'll perfect the nickel coils in drippers before I go back to tanks.....)

I have no intention of giving up though and may try the Nickel again tomorrow.

Amen brother! I feel like it's worth the effort, if for no other reason than it's fun to experiment.
But when the fun starts turning into frustration, that's when I stop for a while, or change the format
for said experiments.
