O.K., so I ordered Blu cigs about a week ago (should be here any day now...takes longer because I'm in Japan). Before you roll your eyes, I ordered them before I did any research because I went to their web site through an advertisement and honestly thought they had created the idea of electronic cigarettes and were the only brand...silly me.

Well I have, since then, done some research (joining this forum being part of it) and have found that Blu cigs are not all that good...from research, not personal experience.

Anyway, I ordered more juice (Marlboro flavored since I smoke Marlboro lights now) from Rocky Mountain Vapor a few days later. I'm hoping that the more it's like smoking, the more chance I'll stick with it...at least at first.

I have looked around a bit and it seems like the Volcano e cigs are interchangeable with the Blu cigs and are a much better product. Today I ordered 2 atomizers, a battery pack, a pack of Blue Water Punch cartridges (mainly to have the cartridges...but to try the flavor as well since the empty ones and the flavored ones are only a dollar difference in price), and a bottle of milk chocolate juice from Volcano. The idea is that I can change parts out between the Blu and the Volcano to try to get the best of both worlds (which may mean just using the Volcano e cig primarily and having the Blu for backup).

All together this should make for a nice starter kit with a few flavors, nicotine levels (11mg, 12mg, and 18mg), and companies to try (and make sure I have enough juice to last me a little while since ordering takes a week or more to get here).

I sure hope this all works out for me because I have $122 invested so far!

It will be worth it if I can stick with it...I'll be healthier, I'll enjoy it, and it will end up paying for itself eventually!

I don't know anything about the products, yet, from personal experience. The only thing I can say was that I got free shipping for the starter pack from Blu, Rocky Mountain Vapor would have been free shipping, but I opted to pay $4 for priority shipping, and Volcano had no option for free shipping...but it was a little over $4 for priority shipping anyway.

Thanks for the link Upinthehills! I read the whole thread and it was pretty informative. Seems to be 50/50 on people liking them and those that don't, but it does seem like the Volcanoes get better reviews (even if they are the same thing, people seem to like the Volcanoes better).

I'm still optimistic...hoping it lives up to the build up I have for it (I know that they take some time to break in and I may not be totally impressed from first vape...I'll be patient and give it a good chance, especially since I really want it to work for me). I can't wait to get started!
