PIF Etiquette question

Okay, I've now offered an item in Treasure Chest, have asked for and been given a Wanted item, and have participated in PIF. So far, I have willingly offered to pay postage for these items. I did so, because nobody has yet asked me for postage, and because it just seemed the right thing to do.

I'm wondering though about postage etiquette for items passed along in the Treasure Chest area. Is it customary to request/receive postage? How do you all handle that?

Again, I'm not worried about it. A few bucks here and there won't break the bank, but I'm just wondering how everybody else handles this.

BTW, if this has already been discussed, forgive a lazy newbie.

The rules state that no money is ever to change hands in PIF. It is up to the person making the offer to cover costs associated with shipping.

I just wanted to add to this that in the past a person has accepted a PIF and offered a book of stamps as a return offer. I always found that to be a neat alternative, and they always seemed to go quick. boB

boB is so right... I rarely claim a PIF anymore just 'cause I have become set in my ways. LOL But the last one I took was just that, a book of stamps (great offer) and I could then easily afford to share a few of the bottles I had sitting.

Thanks Moderators and friends. I sorta figured that was the case, but I felt I should ask in order to avoid acting like a bone-haid.

I figure it all evens out. Frankly, I'm glad the rules are set up this way.

I've done that occasionally. Offered a 'shipping' PIF. They are a nice alternative and can also be an idea for someone that feels they don't have enough ecig type things to offer.

NOTE: I said FEELS like for newbies often feel they don't have the right things to offer, but us 'oldies' know that -anything- is AOK.

So as an alternative, a shipping pif might consist of some stamps (they offer mini packs too) and maybe a couple envies, some bubble wrap, maybe packing tape.. You get the idea! All that stuff is available locally. Even at walmart or the dollar store.

Ok. So enough rambling. Time to get back to clean house!
