For the electronically impaired, what is the benefit to using this charger?

Pila Chargers are know for their reliability, conistency in rate of charge (highly unlikely to overcharge or undercharge which increases battery lifespan) and their 4 stages of available charging:
4 stages:
Stage 1 – Automatic analyzing battery status
Stage 2 – Quick charge
Stage 3 – Slow charge
Stage 4 – Standby mode, trickle charge

The quality is also apparent in the spacers as well (you can see them in the pictures). They actually screw into the charger terminal, so that they aren't popping out every time you change batteries, which can be a big plus.

Cool! I'm battery challenged and just had a battery 'incident'. I picked up a charger specific to the CR123a (in a set) and noticed one pair kept charging...and charging...and charging without the light going green. I put my hand on them and the charger and batteries were hot. I'd use a multimeter except I hate them so...yeah, thanks for getting these in for me, David. :)

I forgot to ask, are there dummy lights on these? Will they be green or broadcast anything that indicates, 'Fully charged and safe to use'?

Yes they have a red one to show when they are charging and a green one lights up when they are cooked. Can't remember how it works, as it never comes up on mine, but there is a 'bad battery' notification as well!

There sure are! Heres a scan of the instructions on what the various lights indicate:

So is this a good charger for the AW icr123 750mah batts?I seem to have issues with the chargers I have.I want to get a new charger and a couple sets of batts.

One would need additional 15mm spacers approximately. I'm going to try to get some in as i need them for another charger anyway. Pila doesn't recommend charging any batteries that are not 600mah or larger.

Thank you, Barry and David. My heart beat a little faster at the Reset feature. Sometimes I'll use a mod for a short while and before I go out might want to top it off and there's that green light stopping me. Now I just have to decide on some batts. I won't even ask since battery talk always makes me weep. Suffice it to say, I'm going to try some IMRs. I hear they're spiffy and that's really all I need to know. :)

Sounds like what Ive been looking for.Ill keep an eye out for the spacers to be in stock.Thank you! Will any of the chargers in stock now work with the AW icr123 750mah batts and fit them and charge them properly?I dont think the charger I have is charging them enough.

I got my AW ICR123's here at Super T and they are WAY better than those Ultra Fires. I have both for my Buzz and I can get twice the time out of the AW's than I can with the UltraFires. My AW's can be in my Buzz for 12 hours easily. I don't chain vape, but from 7:30am - 1am the next morning I am using it.
Super T has by far the best shipping rates for batteries too. Now they have the best charger too. Can't beat that...

Which charger should I get that will work with my batts? The new Pila needs spacers and I dont have those. Will one of the other chargers in stock work as is?

I've had really good luck with the plain old TR-001 charger i sell for 11.99. It's good bang for the buck...

That was my first charger and I charged AW ICR123's loads and loads of times. No spacers needed, just slip them in, red light comes on, turns green when done. They will charge several sizes of batteries too.
