I got my AW ICR123's here at Super T and they are WAY better than those Ultra Fires. I have both for my Buzz and I can get twice the time out of the AW's than I can with the UltraFires. My AW's can be in my Buzz for 12 hours easily. I don't chain vape, but from 7:30am - 1am the next morning I am using it.
Super T has by far the best shipping rates for batteries too. Now they have the best charger too. Can't beat that...

Good to know, Roscoe!

Okay...I'm confused about the need for and the availability of spacers.

I use a WF-188 for my 18650s, 14500s and my LifePos. I have another 3.7 volt charger I use only for my 14500s because the 18650s don't fit well into it.

Anyhoo...the spacers...will I need to buy spacers to charge my 14500s? I will absolutely need them for the LifePos, that much I know. I see some sort of screwed in gizmo and am hoping that's to allow the Pila to accept a 14500.

Edit: Did my eyes deceive me or did I read I can charge two different types of batteries together?

Yes, the Pila will charge the 14500 with it's included screw in spacers (you can see them in the picture) Just remove them to charge longer batteries like the 18650.

Pila doesn't recommend charging two different kinds of batteries at once.

:)

I charge 2 different kinds of batteries at once. no issues so far.
they are separate bays...so I don't see why there would be an issue.
I've been using this charger for...idk a year now.
I use it everyday.
Best ecig money I ever spent IMO.

I have 2 aluminum 15mm spacers for the 16340s.

this is the only charger I will use, especially with IMRs b/c of the lack of protected cell.
the charger cuts off the voltage. (there is no trickle charge..I've tested this countless times..who ever wrote the manual is stupid..lol)

Every serious vaper should own this charger IMHO.

If mine breaks I'll be buying one from you david.
major kudos to david for offering this charger.

Exactly ... I do the same, have the same spacers and everything.
People gripe about 50 bucks, but I spend 1-2 K a year on vaping....
50 bucks for something thats going to last years is ridiculous to gripe about.
Its a no-brainer !!

Got my alum spacers at lighthound, but they are available at other places.
I use the screw in Pila spacer plus one alum for 16340 without any trouble.

David has the best prices on this charger and batteries .... Plus shipping is super cheap and quick.
I always send people his way for AW batts, now I can tell them to get the Pila charger there too.

Very cool.

I agree with everything you just said big hitter.
I also got my spacers from lighthound as well.

I'm surprised more vapers don't own this charger....but here is your chance!

you need to stock those 15mm spacers david...then you have everything.

I've been using a Pila to charge my IMR 16340s for about 10 months. I use one of these in each channel:CR123 Spacer without the Pila spacer.

I was concerned about the lower mah storage of 16340s and the speed with which the Pila charges them but Andrew at AW assured me the charger would work fine with this model of his batteries.

They charge in about a half hour and top out at about 4.15 volts. I don't miss the extra .05 volt and hypothesize that this conservative ceiling is keeping my batteries young longer. I seldom use anything other than my Precise 16 and I'm still using the original five IMR 16340s I bought back in May last year.

In fact, the Precise, the Pila and the IMRs work so well as a system that I don't come here very often anymore. You know: 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it.'

Bought one of these also, definately need spacers for the full range. I got a stack of the rare earth little ones that I use for the 10440s. 18500s fit if you screw out the included spacers just a little ways. 18650s you take the spacers completely out. Gonna have to get a BUNCH more magnest to get my 15270s in there though.

i posted this on a different thread the other day and didn't get an answer - so i'm going to post it here:

... and david did save the day
i got my order today and all the revisions that i had asked for were fulfilled.
thank you so much!

i do have a question regarding the pila charger as i just want to make sure i am clear on this -- i can charge just one battery at a time with this right?
i am asking because i only ordered two and if i have to have them both in the charger - then vaping on that particular pv will be on hold.

i did read in the little user guide that came with it (on the 2nd inside page, item #3.) "you may insert one or two pila li-ion batteries, also different models", but i am not sure if this applies to AW brand also.

thanks again for all your help with this order david!

Exactly why you don't see much of me on ECF anymore. No more fiddling around with stuff that doesn't work. Huge money saved NOT buying stuff from other manufacturers that doesn't work either. Thanks Dave!
