I've tossed this question out in a couple of different forums and not gotten a response, so either this is the dumbest question ever and if I tried it I would end up looking like this:

Or maybe I'm just not asking the right people, so I'm gonna try it here:

Would it work to strip the nylon from the end of a pipe cleaner and hook it directly onto the atty bridge then fold or wind up the remainder of the pipe cleaner (still covered with nylon) into the cart as filler?

I don't know anything about how batteries or electricity work, and I kept wondering if it was a bad idea to have wire touching the bridge. Then I read the brass screen mod that Stric9 posted and there's some discussion there about the metal screen touching the atty.

So, is this a feasable way to get more of a steady stream of liquid to the atty?

BTW, Stric9's brass screen mod that I mentioned is a great mod...everyone should check it out: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/38161-brass-screen-mod.html

Pipe cleaners are made to absorb, not wick. So the answer is - not a good material.

Ok, so what if it wasn't a pipe cleaner. Maybe the real question is would it be a good idea to have something that won't burn but still links directly to the atty? Think of it as a bridge to the bridge. :p

There was another discussion, can't find it now, about taking a spring from inside a ballpoint pen, cutting it to the length of the cart and winding it through the cart filler. The idea being the spring would touch the bridge and then heat up the entire cart filler and vaporizing all the e-liquid. Don't remember how folks like it or not.

Even if it did work, seems to me that all the e-liquid heating up and same time would use a lot of liquid
