Place to buy a wooden box?

Thanks to Mr. Pucks tutorial here on ECF I built a couple of puck mods (with radio shack parts) and really enjoyed the learning experience. I am a beginning modder and would like to make another mod, perhaps with wood or something other than a radio shack battery box.

I have no woodworking skills/tools so I was wondering if anyone has ideas for where to buy wooden boxes for building mods?

Other suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

walmart, ac moore and other crafts stores has wooden boxes. also try to google wooden craft boxes

I have been searching and searching for a good wooden box at a low cost... I am a little bit cheap so $15 was too much at the moment. here are my favorite kind of boxes. Maybe you are willing to spend it.

This seller has many different sizes and patterns. If you got to their store you will have to go through many many many items tho :/

this second site has alot more to offer btw. That only goes to the simple boxes. They also have trick/puzzle boxes, and boxes that lock with a "Knock" in the right spot.

Yeah, these are what I want my VV in aswell. I have one of these boxes here but it is used for other things. Getting harder to avoid.

Just found this one for $1.89 Wood Box 3.5" x 2.5"

This small wooden box has a recessed lid that makes the lid almost disappear into the box. Exterior dimensions are approximately 3.5" x 2.5" x 1.5". Interior dimensions are 3" x 2" x 1".

Wow, that's perfect for two 18650s. Inside dimensions are 3"x2"x1". Two 18650s are 2.6"x1.4"x.7" The price is right too.
