Hello All,

I got my Waffles Doubler in yesterday, and I hate to say it, but I'm not at all 'sold' yet. Trust me - this is as disappointing to me as it probably is for you to hear. ;-)

Has anyone else that's received their Waffles been underwhelmed? To me, this tastes just like a pseudo-waffle kiddy cereal I tried (and didn't like) many years back.

The decent news is that after mixing it in a 2:1 ratio to TV's Vanilla Custard, it's a bit better. I know I haven't let this steep at all, but word around town is that Waffles don't need steeping.

Perhaps this will grow on me as time moves forward? Is anyone else less than blown away by the Waffle liquid?

I am baffled. Yes of course letting the liquid steep may improve the flavor. And maybe the vanilla custard mix is more "your taste" than plain. I think with the VC mix, it will probably benefit from sitting/aging. I hope you get this all worked out. Hopefully someone else will be more help than I am on this issue. Good luck!!

Yes, I have another bottle of vanilla custard and it took some aging to be perfect. I wanted to use the doubler because I wanted to reduce the nic. It'll be good. I love TV's custard.
That makes sense since it's a dairy flavor. I know that Geoff has said that all dairy flavors definitely need to age. Maybe the plain waffles just isn't OP's taste. I did say in another thread that Waffles doesn't need to be aged, when comparing the juice to my month old bottle, but that may just be my opinion. Maybe OP will like the juice once it's had time to sit some. We'll see I suppose :) :)

Don't fret, fellow TV lovers, all is well. I'm definitely liking my Waffles mixed with Vanilla Custard a bit more, and I'm sure I'll also find other mixes that I can enjoy it with as well. I'm a resourceful dude. ;-)
That's the wonderful thing about TV. I think ALL of Geoff's juices could be combined with one another to make a fantastic mix. For example, Tastyfinger and AC... WHO would have thought? Especially having a true "base" flavor like that, you're in luck if you don't like it plain muahahaha. I guess it would always be cheaper to order one already mixed though.

I don't know that it's cheaper to order already mixed. I ordered waffles, peach, raspberry, and a vanilla custard doubler. This way I can have waffles plain, waffles with custard, peach waffles, raspberry waffles, peach, raspberry, or custard. I can also mix the peach and raspberry or the peach and the custard. If I go to three flavors it adds even more choices. I think all of the possible combinations makes 19 different choices. For the price of four bottles.
