Plane reaction

Has anyone used their e-cig on a plane and if so, what was the reaction?
I would be interested to know what other reactions users have experienced in 'no smoking' establishments.

Not tried on a plane yet but I am the first person to have used an e-cig in a particular pub in my area and while reaction on the whole was very positive there were a couple of of people who were upset by it.

One of the barmaids thought it was a real cig and went a bit ape - I pointed out that it was a vaporizer but she shouted "well I can feel it affecting me - put it out!" however the manageress who had previously given me permission to use it did not back her up and she walked off in a huff

As I said - on the whole a good first reaction however I would not be suprised if next time I go to the same pub the manageress will tell me I can't use it - if the bar staff get together and gang up on her she won't have much choice

I don't think it's a good idea. Regardless to whether it's legal or not, it's a questionable act that might become a problem.

Did it at a up scale bar during a huge fashion show a friend as hosting. Got some weird looks, but mostly just curious onlookers. One of the guys stopped me while I was walking to the bathroom and actually followed me in there to tell me that there is no smoking indoors and to put it out. I calmly said it's not a cigarette. He still didn't get it and said, well there's no smoking. I told him it's not smoke, it's water vapor. He didn't even flinch when he said okay and walked away. So.... I guess no problems yet!

Don't think I would try it on a plane, too many other factors come into play. I think anything that looks like smoke on a plane might induce panic these days
