Is it not safe to assume (yes, I know what assuming makes me :)) that the #1 plastic bottles that nic comes in from Box Elder for instance, is also safe for long term storage? If so, would it also be safe to assume that any (#1) plastic bottle also be safe, like the green bottles vitamins come in?

I'm basing my 'logic' on the fact that the Box Elder nic is dated beyond a year from purchase, and that the vast majority of e-liquid vendors use plastic bottles. Thanks.

I should have added, the reason for my question is that everyone seems to say that the nic should be stored in glass rather than plastic bottles.

I plan on keeping mine in the original plastic bottle it came in until it's gone.
Frankly, I don't think it's safe to SHIP high strength nic in glass bottles.
What would happen to the mail carriers/UPS drivers etc if they came into contact with 100 mg nic because a bottle got broken in transit? That's all the ANTZ need to shut down our hobby.
If you are asking if it's ok to transfer you nic into old glass vitamin bottles, I wouldn't. Your nic will taste and smell like B vitamins.

The small amounts of Nic I have purchased, I moved into glass bottles and into the refrigerator. Since I do not understand the makings of plastic and how nic reacts with the chemicals of plastics-it just made me feel better for a long term storage move. Just me and my quirkiness.
