We call it a "reset" when we go into a new round. You still keep all of your previous picks. If you miss a round you do not get to back and make up picks. You can only make picks for the current round.

My car started making a little bit of lifter rattle. I didn't worry too much about it because the mileage is getting up. Then it started making a more annoying, disturbing noise. I took it in today to get checked out and a couple of the lifters went belly up. Going to be a thousand or so to replace those and clear out all the sludge buildup that caused them to go out in the first place.

Then... I get a call a couple hours later. In the process of clearing out the sludge, they took the pan off the bottom and found my bearings have been mostly reduced to a metallic paste and the engine is now toast.

That sucks. I hate dealing with car repairs. Spent over $2200 to smog mine last year. All it was was a fitting on top of the gas tank that had a crack in it.

Well, I think this needs more than I can put into it. 3500 for a used engine from who knows where with no guarantees or 5500 for a rebuilt engine from Japan. And the rest of the car will still have 180k miles on it. I think I've driven the old girl for the last time this morning. *cry*
