Playing with Photoshop Touch for Android

I'm no Photoshop wizard or anything but I like to play. I downloaded the latest Photoshop for Android phones recently and I have to say... I am thoroughly impressed with the functionality it brings to mobile devices.

Pretty sweet dude, I'm suprised you can get that accurate on a phone.
I usually hook my lappy up to the 42" to do my shooping.

I'm really amazed with this app. The selection tools are great, there is a lasso just like in the pc version and layer support works fantastic. The image I made up top there was 4 layers. It's way way way more functional that I would have expected a mobile app to be.

How much is the app? I may have to check it out when I upgrade to a non 3 yr old phone.

I knew it was either $3.99 or $4.99 but couldn't remember. So I went to find out and discovered another version of PS Touch for Android that I'm guessing is for tablets only that is $9.99, it says that version is not compatible with my device (a Galaxy Note 2)

The version I got is called PS Touch for Phone and is $4.99

Man... now I'm intrigued. The $9.99 version is just over 2x the size of the phone version (46mb vs 19mb). I wonder what's better about it and why it won't run on a quad core device that has 2gb of ram??

Edit: No, that doesn't make sense. I have no idea, can't think of anything more powerful in a phone/tablet that it could be for.

An Android app for a Microsoft device? I know just a little more than nothing about the Surface.. wouldn't surprise me to see some compatibility between the two companies.
