Pleasantly surprised by DEKANG

Well I got them delivered today. Four 10ml bottles all at 6mg.

Vanilla
Super Strong Mint
USA Blend
Chocolate


1. The star is the 'Super Strong Mint.' I was vaping a really bland tobacco, a free sample ego 1.1ml tank I got with my pv and was using as a 'work vape' and just added literally only three drops of the DEKANG super strong mint juice to it and it's gone from Clarke Kent to Superjuice! It is now a fresh, cool, slightly sweet minty, menthol-like great vape! So I will be able to stretch out all my bland tobacco juices by adding this to it for about a month or more for a menthol vape which is my joint fave with RY5! Awesome! And it's super clear too, so very atty friendly. Not quite as good as JANTY menthol but at this price.... They do offer menthol at DEKANG but not at the 6mg I vape, hence I went for mint.


2. The chocolate and vanilla are dark juices, so they're going down the toilet - I do not vape dark juice, it coats my tongue and throat and gunks up atties - no thanks.


3. The USA blend is very nice indeed. I had ordered it from another cheap Chinese vendor before to much dismay. It was slightly nutty and weak, like vaping water mist with a hint of hazlenut.


The DEKANG USA BLEND is not like that at all. No perfumey taste and perfect for anyone who likes a nice mild tobacco flavor with a slightly, really slight almost caramel / vanilla hint, the slightest, tiniest hint as an aftertaste which really rounds it off nicely. Not a strong one but full vapor, full flavor and a nice little aftertaste. Very happy with this. Again it's a clear juice with a slight yellowness to it. I can use this as a work vape or for when I want something yummier at home or at the pub, mix it with the mint or some RY5.


Soooo, yeah, total cost 4 pounds and eighty pence or about $7. Tbh the Mint is so good it's worth that by itself as it is going to salvage a lot of juice that would either be left sitting, thrown away or vaped but not enjoyed.


I am now going to add a drop of both chocolate and then vanilla to the usa blend as an experiment.


A. The chocolate and usa blend 50/50 - am not risking 100% dark juice in my attys. A nice vape actually, like hot chocolate / cocoa - but you're vaping it instead of drinking it. No perfumey taste, just a straight up hot choco / cocoa flavor. Again very impressed, even Janty's chocolate was perfumey when I tired it and I am surprised at the boldness of this one for a quarter of the price! Bear in mind this is mixed with the other, so by itself would be stronger tasting.


B. Okay I'm not throwing out juice and opening up new tanks so I added half a tank of vanilla to the half tank of 50/50 usa and chocolate. Wow. I didn't expect so cheap a juice to be so good. People who say DEKANG is weak or has perfumey tones are getting fake DEKANG. It literally tastes exactly like vanilla, I can taste it through the other flavors. If it was weak you would expect it to have diluted the flavor of the above mix (A) but it has not at all.


All I can say is I am (was) a JANTY / OVALE vaper and even their non tobacco or menthol juices were too perfumey for me to vape, so I only bought their tobacco and menthol as I like their hardware and I stick with who I know.


At a quarter of the price DEKANG has now become my go to juice supplier.


Expected the whole lot to be garbage to be quite frank, what a pleasant surprise and I now have one hell of a nic buzz on and know to be careful when reviewing next time as I'm quite high now from all that testing!

Okay that was very enthusiastic. We have to bear in mind I was expecting them all to be utter garbage and I am high as a kite on the nic buzz from so many draws.

Okay, the mint is NOT as delicious as a good menthol. It's close and cheap enough, but I'd still prefer a good menthol.

The USA Blend is an okay 'workday' vape, nothing more, nothing less.

The vanilla and chocolate on second recollection - it's hard to say but they DO taste EXACTLY like what they are supposed to be - BUT THIS MAKES THEM KIND OF BORING.

Thus I still find menthol and RY5 to be superior to all of them and unfortunately DEKANG do not offer either at the 6mg 'low' level, so I'll never know if their menthol or RY4/5 is any good.

So yeah, if you want juice that tastes exactly like what it says on the bottle - DEKANG have nailed it. But be careful what you wish for v- vaping plain cocoa or vanilla is just not that great after a while....

For me it's all about blends like RY5 or menthol.

So yeah, good quality, but who wants to vape plain vanilla or cocoa?

Glad you like it. Taste is so subjective, for me dekang just didn't do it. But your right for the price you can't go wrong. Have you tried liqua? It's the same price on fast tech but the flavors are much more pronounced.

I'd say the flavors are pronounced just fine, I think actually as they are 100% PG, I miss that sweetness you get with my usual 50vg/50pg blend from Janty / Ovale.

I don't know, it's like if I buy a coffee cake, I donlt really want it to taste like a coffee bean, you know? I want it buttery, creamy etc. If I bought a cafe creme mini cigar I know I'm not expecting it to taste like a cup of Nescafe.

The DEKANG juices are exactly what they purport to be, that in itself is the issue, who wants their dessert or smoke / vape to be something so raw and simple? You want your vanilla just a bit sweeter than vanilla extract alone which is why ice cream has milk, egg white, sugar added to it. You want your chocolate bar creamy and rich but not too bitter which is why chocolate bars have milk and other ingredients added and don't taste like cocoa beans.

So yeah, they're spot on in my opinion, but spot on is boring... Shrug.

RY5 is my fave and that's a blend of tobacco, vanilla and caramel. Menthol is my second and that's a blend of tobacco and mentholatum.

So maybe good for d.i.y. and you have to give it to them that they got the flavors so true, but vapers I think want more than a plain earthy taste....

Okay my review was more than overly enthusiastic, it was premature.

I'm going back to ovale // janty 50vg/50pg juices. Here is a thorough breakdown of why

I like 50vg/50pg best.

Pg is better for atties and wicks better but is too hot for me.

Vg alone is slow to wick and fouls attys faster and unless it's a clear juice - coats my throat and tongue.

I prefer the coolness and sweet flavor of VG but 100% VG gives me atty hassle so I go with 50/50 and find that good, though only with clear juices, even at that ratio I find the darker juices coat my lungs / throat / tongue.

With pg you can use darker juices and get zero atty fouling and 'coating' but I find the vapor too hot.

In an ideal world I think I'd go with 40vg/60pg just as it would be a bit thinner for wicking.

But 50/50 is decent once you know how to look after your attys. I wish pg vapor was cooler and I'd use it exclusively due to it's lower viscosity - but it's too damn warm.

And DEKANG only do pg, sooooooo bye bye dekang.....

Might keep a batch of the usa blend for stretching out what I'm going back to - Jany / Ovale RY5, Tobacco and Menthol as it is a quarter of the cost and not overpowering.

But yeah, me not pg fan at all, good for atty, bad for hotwire's mouth.

Well isn't this just crazy?

I've done a 360 turn around on my feelings and taste for PG.

Have been vaping the DEKANG super strong mint and the USA blend both 100% PG and I have loved it. No underlying sweetness, good clean flavor and good clean vapor, which is less watery somehow and zero, zero atty issues as it's so damned thin.

Just mixed some 50vg/50pg OVALE Virginia tobacco to some dekang UA blend 100% PG and it's like poop, hot atty, not wicking well etc.

Yeah dark VG juices at ANY ratio are out for me now and when my sample pack of 50/50 clear liquids - all the VG dark ones been thrown out already, never going there again - I am now a PG fan.

The dekang super strong mint is awesome for anyone who likes a menthol vape and just amazing performance for the price.

And the USA blend is a little bland but it's a good workday vape, not a treat vape but a solid tobacco type the you can vape all day and your atty won't get hot and the flavor and vape are the same all day long.

Definitely the super strong mint will be a mainstay order from now on and I have heard good things about their DK-tab so will try to find an alternative to the USA blend, bit will get another bottle of it too as it's good to have for back up.

Okay, have been going well with the USA blend and the super strong mint.

Have kept the juices in the fridge as Dejang recommends.

Just busted out the vanilla on the ego and OMG. It is delicious!

Never thought I'd ever vape vanilla and like it!

So far three of my juices are now certifiably good and amazing value.

Will have to give the chocolate a fair go by itself too (you'll remember above I mixed them.)

Have also placed a re-order for a top up on USA blend and super strong mint as well as CAMEL and Mild 7 - which was my cig brand so interesting to see how that one fares.

Bloody loving DEKANG right now. Keeping them in the fridge really seems to work for them!
