Thanks.
I'll get a bunch of 30A green Sonys.
However, I'm not sure what to calculate for the max watts it can push when I use the ohms law calculator before firing the coil (despite that I'm almost certain there won't be a problem because everyone raves about these doing like .2ohm, but I'll probably be around .6). I found charts that I think show the 30A Sony pushing like 80 Watts.

I looked through all the FT mods for ones with springs. I assume the springs in sideways buttons don't count as safety hot springs, and I don't think sideways buttons can even be locked (by unscrewring the nut that prevents the button being pushed like some have, which I of course want). Maybe some have hot springs or good-enough-springs hidden in the firing button that I can't see in the photos?

These are what I found. The K100 I hear a lot about, and although it looks like it has a spring, I read the plastic (or whatever) ring covering it prevents it from being a hot spring.

Out of these, which have a hot spring and also the capability to physically lock the firing button to prevent misuse? IOW, which one should I get?
Thanks for your help.

My FT bagua is an excellent sturdy 18350 APV. Still like new after 2 months of hard use; unlike omega clone which is showing wear. Mine has sturdy 510 connector. The button never miss fires and is smooth. Room for inline fuse. Needs more vents drilled. 18350 requires charging more often. 18350 has less energy available for eruption event.

I ordered the most expensive FT chiyou clone because quality appears to be similar to bagua. I plan to drill extra vent holes in top and bottom. Most people prefer the additional capacity of 18650 batts.

My lowest resistance build is 0.7 ohms (6 amps). Even my 1 ohm build puts out near extreme clouds when tuned.

The available coin fuses I've seen are borderline insufficient capacity for my satisfaction. I have some 10 to 20 amp SMD fuses on order but don't know when I'll get around to cutting 18 mm PCB boards.

I have Aluminum, Tin, Brass and Stainless APVs. If I had to pick only one, I'd pick stainless because it is durable. Aluminum is my last choice because it needs to be babied more.

The 510 connection is critical. I'd scan through the reviews to verify 510 connection and threads are strong. Aluminum 510 threads are a no no.

The switch can be scratchy on many mods. Watch out for low quality metal to metal moving switch parts which can wear and become sticky.

Did you place an order yet?

I browsed though your wish list.
I noticed several had a hot spring which is smart from a safety stand point.
Spring mod doesn't need telescopic adjust for batt gap like chi-you but could benefit from telescopic 510 center pin to adjust atty height.
I've had to use a solder blob to adjust 510 center pin upward; works but needs frequent cleaning.
Chances are the non telescopic 510 center pin will fit most attys but leave a small gap between atty and APV.
Downside to telescopic 510 pin is it will likely be weaker.

If you know which diameter atty you plan to use, you can better choose if you prefer tapered or straight mod.

They are so cheap some have been known to order more than one mod:2cool:.
