I have no idea what to get! My birthday is Wednesday. The 28th will be one year free of cigarettes too. I figured the Reo would be the perfect way to celebrate, but I'm having trouble figuring out what I need. I've read through a lot of threads on the Reo forum, but none of it makes sense.

Can someone help?

I cannot think of a better birthday present and one that you would enjoy for many, many more because they will last forever. The LP will allow you to use several different atomizers. Yes the woodvil's are gorgeous. . .

Happy early birthday!

What do you vape now? Do you chase flavor or clouds?

If you are a flavor chaser get a LP Reomizer to start. It's the gold standard of Reo atties. If you like a little more cloudy, then the RM4, 5, or 6 would be good choices and come straight from Rob.

A good starting point is a LP (low profile) Grand or Mini as they can take any atty you throw at it. A Grand uses an 18650 battery and holds 6 ml of juice. The mini uses an 18490 I think and holds 3 ml of juice. I don't own a mini so I'm not positive on the battery size.

Also get 1 or 2 spare springs. If you have a short the springs are designed to collapse, saving you and the Reo.

Get some extra bottles so you can easily change flavors. The Reo comes with 2, but with all of Clark's wonder juices 2 just ain't enough.

Appropriate batteries and a charger if you don't have these already. Rob recommends AW IMR 1600 or 2200 for the Grand. These can handle 24 and 20 amps respectively so you can easily venture into 0.4 ohm coils if you wish. These are button top batteries, but you can also use flat top batteries. I personally use Sony VTC4 and 5 and Samsung 25R. Authentic AW Batteries - RTD Vapor is a great battery supplier.

Enjoy your venture into Reoville! I think you will love it, I love mine!

Thank you! I like the look of the Grand a LOT. I do build, and my hubby drips so he has a charger. I'll admit I LOVE clouds. The more the merrier. I've been using a Kayfun and Aspire Nautilus on my MVP 2.

So, I basically just need the Reo, a Reomizer, batteries, extra bottles and springs?

There is an LP mini in the classies right now. Thoughts? I don't hate the thought of the mini...and it's a great price.

Not a bad price and there is also a hammertone that is in new condition also for $30 more. Both are a very good choices. Really not a huge difference in size from the grand and the mini but for me, the grand gets the most love simple because of the larger juice capacity and battery life. You really can't chose wrong here. It's your birthday. . . get one of each. :D Just kidding (no not really) For a size comparison. . .

That's a beautiful mini in the classies, the Hammertone finish is very tough too. I've been wanting a HT Grand for a while now. With a Mini though, you're not going to get the battery life or the juice capacity that'll make it through an entire day. Which to some isn't a horrible thing. They are extremely pocket friendly though. Probably a lot smaller than what you have in mind. The Grand is probably smaller than you think as well. Either way, you're not going to regret a Reo purchase. If you like clouds though, stay away from the RM2, it's not gonna be your thing. Get a LP and check out CatFish Atty Mods here on ECF. He does bottom fed conversions on some really great attys.

Oh and welcome to a whole new world of vaping once you get your Reo!

That will get you going.

Check out Super X's Youtube page. He has a collection of vids on everything Reo.

https://www.youtube.com/user/sxmxdrifter

He did reviews of the RM4, 5, and 6. Since these are more towards the cloudier side of things they might be right for you. The RM4 is smaller and is an Atomic clone so there is some good flavor to go with the clouds. Then again my RM2 that I drilled out the air hole is no slouch on the cloud front either. I won't win any cloud competitions with it, but I can chuck some vapor...

Buy from Rob, avoid the classies. You can PM Rob (redeyedancer) or email him via the site to ask if he has any unlisted blems. You'd be doing miracle work to spot the "blem" - Rob is a perfectionist and most who buy blems don't ever see what the blem is but it's cheaper. Definitely LP Grand is the way to go. Get some extra bottles then you can swap juices anytime at the swap of a bottle.

If you like clouds and flavor, lots of good attys thanks to Catfish. I run Derringers. Nuppins are favored by many and there's another run coming soon. The other RMs on Robs site are said to be good too. The RM2 has no AFC but you can drill it out for more airflow and clouds, but it's a flavor atty to and through. And it's good as a starting place but if you're already into rebuildables, you've got plenty of options to consider :) still, an RM2 is cheap and a great vape...always a good starting atty for your REO, and good to have in any vapers collection :)

edit - happy early birthday and ANNIVERSARY!!! Mine is Tuesday and my 9 month anniversary without cigs is Wednesday. Look at us we're just celebratory all over the place this week

I'd second, buying a blem. They aren't always on the site but when I bought my first one I emailed him and 15 minutes later and an invoice to buy one. I couldn't find them blem to save my life haha. I would say LP Grand for sure. I love the look of the SLs personally. I would watch the videos linked above to sxmxdrifter. I give him credit for me moving to Reos and that way you can see a lot of atty's first hand on building and how they perform. I know Mr. Rob recommends the AW IMR and I love using them. I'd get at least a couple springs, never know when one could collapse even though you hope it never does.

Happy early birthday as well :)

I believe you have all the information you need to make your choice. All that is left is to fully enable you.

Buy it, buy it, buy it. The only disappointment you will experience is 2 nagging questions. First, why did you wait so long to buy one? And second, what will my next color will be the color of my next Reo be?

And then you will have to figure out which one your husband will want, once he gets a look at yours!

Happy birthday! A Reo will make a Great To: Me, From: Me, For: Me gift.

I travel a lot so the mini 2.1 is a great size for flying and sticking in a suit pocket. But my all day vape is on a Grand. Most people say the grand is smaller than they thought it would be, when they get it.

Get an LP for sure and make sure to get the LP Reomizer for it.
