Please help a copywriter in pain!

Hi! I started a thread, and its title is riddled with odd extra commas and typos. As former newspaper copywriter, it's absolutely killing me with embarrassment. I tried to edit it with the "advanced edit" option, and it looked as though I'd been successful, but the title remains terrible and the same. Please, please let me know how to change it. Thank you SO much, in advance, for any assistance!!

Hi becky, you should be able to double-click the

icon next to the thread title in the list of threads of that forum. An ajax box will appear and the title can be edited. I just confirmed it in the sandbox

you only have a short time to edit a thread title. but you can report the post and if the thread is not a high traffic thread a moderator can edit the title for you. We will not edit thread titles on established high traffic "mega threads".

Two of my forum friends and the boss, himself, took some pity on me and my burning, red cheeks! Cactus, the icon thing didn't work for me, but I just reported the thread with a little plea, so my fingers are crossed. I know it's really a very silly matter, but it's driving me bonkers. I totally understand beckyblue... While I'm not a copywriter, I do like to have proper grammar in my posts (unless I'm being very casual and/or silly ). Glad you could get some help!
