Hi Everyone.....I am slightly in a panic as I have a Kanger Protank2 that has been awesome! I have only had it less than a week, and suddenly I just filled it and it will not hit AT ALL!

The battery is fine/charged, I did not over fill, could it be the head this quickly???.....I I NEED it to work!! have a new replacement head at home but won't be there for awhile......thank for any help!

Carefully!

A paper clip will work. Tiny 90 degree bend on the end.
Hook the center hole.
Wiggle a bit while pulling lightly
Only needs to move a fraction.
Don't want to pull it completely out - BAD

OR

Holding tank upside down
Remove base
Stand tank where it will not tip over
Remove coil head from base.
Look at pin position.
Catch with finger nails and pull out slightly
reassemble
vape

No idea if this is your problem, but here's the basic procedure:

Remove the PT head from the base of the tank.

Gently work a fingernail between the rubber grommet and the contact pin (see pic)

Now gently work the pin out a mm or 2 being careful not to unseat the grommet (see pic)

Put the head back in the base and reassemble the unit.

What type of battery are you using?

Do you have a charger with you to determine if the battery will make proper contact/charge, any time an ego battery has firing/charging issues i automatically start here:

Center Pin Issue - Fixing a non firing eGo battery - YouTube
Yes, I have my charger with me and did test both batteries I have with me as well.....both were connecting and charged.

I have tried everything recommended by all of you, and I truly appreciate the very quick replies and soooo greatly appreciate the help.....in-between posting I arrived home and after trying all the above, I tried the second 'head' that came with my Protank2 and it works perfectly!

I certainly hope that I am not going to have to replace the 'Head' every week???? I started vaping 6 months ago and haven't picked up a cigarette since the very first vape. This is after being a smoker for 30 years.....and I am so Proud of quiting and want to stay that way! I have gone through so many Bad tanks that leak or break and it is extremely frustrating that there always seems to be an issue with one part or another......I really love the vaping when it works and cannot be with out it.....and get very panicked when it's not.....I dont have a bunch of tanks. I like the protank 2 the best and plan to get more back ups.....

Thank you again so much for all the quick help.....can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

When your PT2 is on your battery? Can you hear a light rattlesnake kinda noise? If not...your coil may have popped? These heads can be kinda flakey sometimes. They might last a month...a week or come dead right out the box new?

I always carry an extra tank(full)and 2 extra Atty heads with me where ever I go.
No, thats just it....it wasn't firing/rattlesnake noise was a perfect way to describe, not making that sound at all....like it was just dead! Thats ashame that the 'heads' can be so un-predictable! I do have some on order, and I planned to get more of the PT2 tanks after trying this one first to see if I liked it.....I thought this was going to be so much less costly than smoking and yet it seems like I have been going through tanks/wicks like crazy, and I am not a extremely heavy vaper. I know it's not a perfect science yet, so trying to go with the flow.....Thanks for your help!!!
