Thanks for all your answers! Some of you are just a big a kid as I am. Others reminded me that I am an adult. Lol I did leave him a text message when it came in the mail to call me when he could talk for a few min. However, after work his gf planned a special event for his b-day. She got him tickets to see the Tran-Siberian Orchestra, & dinner, so he has been pretty occupied today & not able to talk. Ugh! I knew I would have a hard time getting ahold of him today! I am still being good…so far!

I bought my sis a kit for x-mas but went ahead & gave it to her. I could not wait! I was too excited for her to try it. I told her she would not have anything to unwrap now, but I will probably wrap up a lil bottle of juice and a carto or something. I think introducing someone to the vaping life is the best gift we could give someone who smokes analogs!

Wait for your son - you don't want to rob him of the genuine joy and wonder he will see on your face when you open it for the first time. I mean, that's why people give gifts isn't it?

But I agree about the warranty and think when he gets home, explain that to him, open it up with him, and then charge it up and make sure it works.

The Prodigy has a 6 month warranty so you're far from it being expired plus it's all mechanical so not much to go wrong with it. Go to the website, stare at it but wait until he gets home before you open it. It would ruin your present from him.

UPDATE: Well my son just called me (it has been a looong day) & I used my best sell’s pitch ever & well…OK, I begged! Lol He said, “Mom, you are the biggest grown-up kid I know!” “You can open it when I come home tomorrow, test it out, then it gets wrapped up.” So, I at least get to try it out. I was hoping I could just keep it! Lol (sigh) Shew, the will power it took! I kept thinking about how proud my son is of me for quitting the analogs. Both of my kids are actually. They have been asking me to quit since they were old enough to talk and I tried numerous of times, but this is the first time I have not craved analogs. I actually think they taste horrible now and would choose vaping any day! My kids have been so supportive and they told me the other day that me quitting is the best x-mas gift I could give them. Of course, they both are in college so they said food, gas money, or plain mula is always great too! Lol

Thanks for all the comments. Oh, and to those of you who told me “to go for it”, it is nice to know that I am not the only grown-up kid out there! Lol If you send me your phone #’s I will let your wife’s, husbands, bf, gf, kids, family members, etc.. know that you have found all their hiding places, or opened those presents under the tree and wrapped them back up! lol

Find something else to occupy your thoughts with - good grief, why ruin your son's Christmas gift because "it's driving you crazy...?"

If you have to open it - you should pay (right on the spot) the sum your son spent so he can find another gift (if he chooses).
