Please Help Me Not Hate the Nautilus Mini!

Okay so I received my nautilus mini a while ago and have barely used it because it's driving me crazy with the LACK OF FLAVOR! Actually it's not even lack of flavor, I get no flavor at all. I'm not getting any burning smell or taste, I'm actually getting good vapor production...but something is just not clicking for me with this tank.

I even bought a couple of replacement BVC coils and decided to try one last night as I thought maybe I got a bum one and I primed the coil, loaded it up with Mad Scientist Vapor "Eat a Peach" and I could see it wicking properly...I waited fricken 20 mins before I tried it and again an hour later...but no flavor no matter what air hole I tried it on. I know it's not the juice as these flavors by them are like straight candy so I purposely chose this one so I could see if it's the nautilus or not.

I am at a loss. I'm using an mvp 3. The coil in the nautilus is a 1.8. I have tried it from the lowest setting all the way to 15W to see if it made any difference.(It doesn't) What am I doing wrong? Why can't I experience this amazing flavor like others have?

The 1.8 Ohm coils have an operating range from 3.3V to 6.0V, which equates to 5.7W to 20.0W
The 1.6 Ohm coils have an operating range from 3.3V to 5.0V, which equates to 6.8W to 15.6W
So 15W should be fine.

However, try staying with the smaller airflow hole opening for more than one pull. That will create more vacuum, and suck more juice into the chamber. A medium wattage combined with a small hole gives the most flavor. A high wattage and large hole gives more clouds, but less flavor.

Also, try long slow pulls, or multiple quick pulls, where only the last is a deep one.

And I'm sure you know this, but increasing the PG to VG ratio to higher PG also increases flavor. Most flavors dissolve in PG but not VG.

I have honestly tried all of that lol, especially cuz while I play around with the airflow I just seem to prefer the feel of the smaller hole (whoa, that sounded dirty) and most of my flavors I've tried in it are 50/50 and I would assume that would be okay? Maybe I'm just someone who won't have luck with the nautilus.

Nope...looked into it and honestly am reluctant to spend the money right now on something I may dislike. I plan on looking into further when I know I have more "free money."

if u were a smoker, as most of us here were, free money is relative as i always found $20 a day from my cigs.
if u can stay off cigs then great but if u cant then just "waste" some $ and buy some atomizers until u get one that u like.
but......new tanks are coming out like gang busters so u might be testing for awhile.

lol I was a smoker and I still had to not be completely reckless with my smoking habits so I wouldn't run out so fast. I recently had to quit working so I've had some money to play around with for vaping but I just can't drop $$ on tanks when truthfully my evod2's are getting me through just fine, I'm okay for now. And I like buying juice so I have to keep that in mind otherwise I look up and wonder where the hell my money is going.

50/50 PG/VG means less taste, unless going with flavors that are specifically VG dissolvable -- most aren't. So increasing the PG ratio would also help. 70/30 seems to be a sweet spot for many - it would mean 40% more flavor than a 50/50 mix.

Incorrect. I get way more flavor, as does just about everyone else, from these Subohm Organic Cotton tanks than just about any other BVC or Clearo on the market. The flavor is damn near dripper quality with the RBA section's on my mini's. It's literally turned me into a chain vaper because the flavor is so .......n dense and good. And yes, tons more vapor production. I also vape 85 and 90 VG mixes all day, and the flavor is better than anything I've ever tasted really, so the notion that you need high PG for great, dense flavor is a myth.

Just chalk it up to experience. Nobody makes one thing that is good enough for everybody. I have a nautilus on the shelf. My protank 3 mini and full sized aerotank get more use because they taste better. I am a kayfun fan so even those kangers don't get used much.

I have the nautilus full size and I love it. I have noticed certain juices that are thicker have little to no flavor. So I just don't use them with this tank. Kinda sucks but I'm hoping the Atlantis I just ordered will solve that problem. Guess I'll have to wait and see.
