Please help me pick a battery for my 5v juicebox

madvapes is out of the 14500 trustfires, what batteries should I get? All they have left is the 14500 ultrafires, which apparently are a little bit too long? [ Ultrafire Protected 14500 Battery, 900mAh ] Or should I try these ones? IMR 14500, LiMn 600mAh Battery, Flat Top

I am totally new to modding, please excuse. Also, does it look like I have everything I need? Here's a pic of my cart:

Okay, I'm far from being an expert, but I have used all of the batteries you listed, and I have built several mods. I have each type in rotation on a daily basis for my simple 3.7V box mod, my MadVapes VV box, and a 3.7V dual, parallel 14500 box.

As far as vaping power the Ultras are my favorite... they hold a charge very well, and have excellent longevity, still using a pair that are well over a year old. The only problem with this brand that I have found is that the size/length can vary greatly. I have four of these, two are dead-on for length, one is slightly too long... but it fits all of my boxes, and one is much too long... I can only get it in my VV box, with a little persuasion. Because of this issue I do not plan to buy any more of these.

The Trustfires are a very, very close second for holding a charge, vaping power and longevity. I have six of these, use them in all my boxes, and they are dead-on for size. These are my preferred 14500s.

The IMRs do not provide anywhere close to the vaping time as the brands above. Mine are the EH brand from MV, they are rated 600 mah, whereas the Trusts and Ultras are rated 900 mah, the difference in vaping time is very noticeable. I only use these in my parallel box. A plus for these is that they are safer for use, and the two I have are sized correctly.

My next mod will be a VV box with a MV board providing the regulation, and using a pair of IMR 18500s for power. I have all the parts I need, including the project box, just need the time to work on the project. I decided to use IMR 18500s because of the safety factor of IMR technology, and the 18500s are rated 1100 mah, which should be about right for a full day of vaping, plus they fit my box, whereas using 18650s would have made things too tight in the box.

Unless things have changed your results seem very atypical. TrustFires on the whole seem better in all ways over the Ultrafires.

As far as 900mAh here's a test of a UF14500 at a rather light .8A discharge.

You'll see the actual tested capacity at a 3V cut-off is 592mAh.

As I said, I am not an expert regarding these batteries. My statement was based solely on my anecdotal observations, and I do believe that the Ultrafire batts last longer in all of my mods, though the difference is marginal. Perhaps my judgement is victim to an unintended or unobserved bias of which I am unaware. The only reason I quit buying the Ultrafires was not knowing what size battery I would receive.

Anyway, thanks for your input, factual information is always a good thing.

That 10ml bottle is going to be way too big to fit inside an AA sized enclosure. Biggest you can fit in that enclosure is a 3ml bottle.

Also, If you want to cut down on the size of the enclosure, You can make it all fit into a 3 x AA enclosure if you swap out the green horn button switch for one of the small 100g or 300g metal tactile switches. Here's a 5V juicebox I built in a 3 x AA enclosure:
