I know! I can't believe VG has not been voting every day! My vote is in for the day.
I try and stay away from these sites, I get so sad, but I'm in it for the vote. My niece has a ferret. He goes with her everywhere. He's so adorable, not much different then caring for the cat, except they are so small and get into the darndest places.

Sorry, Raleigh is having problems and I'm a bit distracted. I'll try to remember to vote every day. By the way, I'm entering Raleigh in a contest for the Humane Society. Votes cost $1, but are for a worthwhile cause. I'll let you know about it in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, I am so sorry VG. We completely understand where your mind must be. I just know how much that you love animals so figured there was a good reason that we had not heard from you.
Thanks Salem. Raleigh went through his chemo treatment two weeks ago, but is sleeping a lot and vomiting if he eats canned dog food (organic high protein, not cheap stuff). I know this isn't good based on the major tumor he had in the summer (same symptoms). We're just trying to stay positive. We're giving him lots of organic supplements recommended for dogs with cancer. In addition, he's on a high protein diet. He eats organic dry high protein food in the morning. At night, I cook him one pound of organic turkey or lean ground beef. Grocery bills are getting expensive, but that's okay if it helps him.
You know that I'm a major animal lover, but it depresses me to no end to look at animal sites right now. That's not right though, as all animals need help. I'll truly try to go on the site each day and vote.

What makes it worse is that he was in remission for almost six months and we really got our hopes up. Fortunately though, he doesn't realize anything is wrong yet. He's still eating a lot and barks at the mailman.
Oh! VG! I know that you will give him the very best of any available treatment and any chance that exists for his recovery. I will keep all of you in my thoughts.
