Please help with tank!

Hello. I see many of us are having tank e-cigs problems.. But i don't find here a solution for me..
The problem is that i'm getting a terrible burnt flavour, and it even burns my throat. It's the problem with my new attys (2). I tried new tanks, new atty, the sme problem! I can't vapy! It's so burnt flavour.. I tried to wash it.. I tried to drip on atty.. I tried to push without pressing the button 4 times before vape.. Nothing is helping The tank cap is put on ok. The tank is all the way inside the atty... I don't know what else i could do
Though vapor production is just awesome. I get plenty of vapor, but the taste just burns my throat.. Is soooo burnt!! Help people plese

Hi, Softpiano. I never really got any burnt taste from my eGo-t atties so I don't know if I'll be able to help, but let me try.

First of all, what kind of atties are you using? Are they regular or Low Resistance? Are they brand new or have you used them for some time and slowly developed that burned taste?

Are you sure your tanks are pierced all the way through? If not, the juice will have a hard time getting to the atty.

You see, there is nothing really that can burn in those atomizers, the wick is highly burn resistant, if not burn proof. So the taste must be coming from either leaking juice that somehow gets scorched or you're dry burning your atty and inhaling at the same time.

If they are new, did you blow out the primer? That will leave a yucky taste.

Cat, actually, my eGo-t tanks came filled with rather neutral-tasting primer. I blew it out, but the remaining taste wasn't bad at all. Nothing like some other atties I tried.

Yes they are new. I blew out the primier liquer before use. Two months ago, i purchased them from totally wicked. Now after one atty is dead, i took the one i bought these two months ago. And this is the same with another new.. So... I even washed them.. The taste is like i'd vape without a liquid. So it burnts... But the liquid is expending from the tank.. Vapor production is just awesome.. So i can't find the reason Cuz the same is with other tank carts.. With new tank cart.. So.... I'm gonna quit vaping at all!! Kidding.. I don't want to

Wait a second... I see that Cozzcon doesn't pearce the cart... Maybe i did wrong that i pearced my cart's hole with a scisors?? I thought that it should be pinked... And made a normal hole as it is to fit the spike in the atty... Maybe that's what i didn't have to do?

Ouch, no! No scissors!!!!

Take a new unpierced tank and insert it into the atomizer until it snaps in place. Turn it 180 degrees (inside the atty) to make sure there are no plastic pieces blocking the opening. Remove the tank and inspect the hole. It should be nice and round. If it is, fill the tank. There are two ways to do that: 1) remove the plastic cap and just drip into the tank, replace the cap tightly, and reinsert the tank into the atomizer, or 2) use a syringe and needle to fill the tank without removing the cap.

NO SCISSORS!!!! The hole must be the exact size of the piercing needle inside the tank or the juice will leak and BURN!

So now we know what happened. Clean your atty, dry it well (overnight or use a hair dryer), do a series of short dry burns (5 sec or so) until the coil glows orange, rinse with alcohol one more time and you should be as good as new.

Does this make sense?

No idea. Maybe the hole you made with scissors before was smaller than the piercing needle's diameter and it didn't matter?

I took the new unpearced cart and tried... The same problem exists... Ok.. I will clean my attys and then try again tomorrow.. Thanks for help.. I will write tomorow how i'm going... Thanks again At least now i know that i don't need any scissors

You have to clean your atties. If our diagnosis is correct, you have caramelized, burnt juice all over your atty's coil and mesh. It will always taste burnt unless you give them a real thorough cleaning.

Keep us posted. And put those scissors away!

@softpiano I have the very same problem with my tank attys. I've had them for a few months. I have 3 attys, all 3 of them are giving me the burnt taste and a chemical taste as well that burns my throat. I've cleaned them, I've dripped on the atty, and nothing I've done has gotten rid of this horrible taste. I just figured the attys are shot, even though I'm getting awesome vapor from them, there's got to be something wrong with them if they're giving off such a horrid taste.

ok... cleaning attys like You said.. didn't help.... i found out, that if i drip two drops straight into the atty, then have 5 draws without inhale without pressing the button, it helps, but only for some 6-7 good drags... after that, burnt taste again... why these electronic devices can't work properly?? i buy a thing, and can't even use it without any such problems.. what else can i do?

I don't know who you bought them from, but maybe they would allow you to exchange? I had an atty that leaked like a sieve since the moment I first used it. I tried every mod I could find to no avail. MVS offered to exchange it for me.

There is a way to take them apart and clean them. I have searched and asked if there was a video, but none exist. I have requested a video, and someone said they will make it when they have time. You might be able to follow the directions (they were very detailed, step by step). Below is the link to my video request, where I pasted the directions I received. Maybe doing this kind of thorough cleaning would help? It can't make it worse from the sound of it.
