I have been vaping for just a little over a month now. I have the egoT model ecig and my 510. I love the consistant throat hit i get from my 510, but it just isn't practical or cost effective for when im away from home. My egoT would be great, but i just cannot get a reliable throat hit. Hit. I seem to have found a pretty reliable method, but i am sure it cant be good for the heating element in the atty. I have a tank filled(just hitting that gives me no real vapor or taste) i drip on the coil of the atty in addition and it tastes like air. I kno the atty is not flooded as there. Is no gurgling. But i have found without fail that if i put a single drop into the small hole on the opposite end (battery end of the atty) i get a powerful throat hit. I kno this cant be good, but am running out of options. I don't want to go back to analogs.

Putting a drop on the battery end wont hurt anything but there has to be a problem with your tank not feeding. There is a youtube vid of eGoT atty cleaning but it sounds like you have an issue with the tank or the wick.

Any cartomizer you use on the 510 will work on the ego T battery. You aren't tied to that tank if you don't like it. I use the ego Tanks (the type A tanks) all the time, and I certainly get a fairly decent vape from it.

It's possible that you need a different atomizer on the ego tank system. I'm using the LR atomizers. And any atomizer will get dirty and gunked up over time. Cleaning them can help with that, but sooner or later, your atomizer has to be replaced.

I clean mine by soaking it in isopropyl alcohol. I use two atomizers, total. I'll use one for a week, then swap them. The dirty one gets soaked for 20-30 minutes in the alcohol, sort of swishing it around a few times. Then I let it drain out and sit. You're supposed to let it dry for 48 hours before you use it. For me, I swap them once a week, so it gets pretty much a week to dry.

I should mention as well that I have an eGoT setup and don't much care for it. I use the batteries with regular attys and the new(er) Sapphires from gotvapes.

imho tanks suck. i had the joye 510t and hated it. maybe you could try going the carto route? I use the dual coil 1.5ohm clear cartos and they are doing pretty great for me. I was actually sitting here a few minutes ago in amazement of the amount of vapor that was coming out of my mouth lol. I have a projection tv and seeing the fog im putting out pass through the light from it makes me happy

if you still have your 510 atty, screw it onto the ego t battery, pull the cotton out of the cartridge, drip three drops onto the atty bridge, replace the cartridge, vape-
or get some cartos man-hopefully you still have those 510 atomizers,

Another consideration is what milligram of nic you are using. You might get more of a TH and more satisfaction by switching liquids to a higher nic % or a different VG/PG ratio. Best of luck to you!

A lot of people have issues with tanks. Have you tried the LR tank atty (hotter but uses battery charge faster)? Have you tried cartomizers instead of tanks? More people use cartomizers. Boge are most popular. And some prefer the dual coil cartos.
