That would be my guess too. If you fire a TC coil in power mode it will get SUPER HOT and ruin the coil, plus it can produce TOXIC vapor. Be careful with the TC thing. Make sure you read up on how the mod works.
wow really I didn't know that, I seem to be ok now this is what my settings are at 315c 1.15 ohms, and at bottom left it says 40w

I for some reason also have an issue with Especially my rebuilt GS coils taking up juice for those first hopefully GOOD drags.

I go out of my way to be sure there is juice in the coil, a drop or two on each slit in the shroud and 4-5 drops down the top tube and I STILL let it wait a few minutes once all put back together. Then, take a couple draws on it With No Power. At least then, theoretically, you should not get a dry hit.

Now, yeah, it may gurgle a bit at first but you can either shake that out or turn up the voltage and vape it out. I usually do the "thermometer shake" thing once and it's clear. A little starting gurgle beats a dry hit any day.

I posted before about rebuilding your Protank coils. If you can rebuild your Protank coil you can rebuild the GS Air coil too. Our own Cheech did the GS Air rebuild vid. The GS's shroud and wrap are a little bit of a pain to deal with when rebuilding, but basically getting free coils makes it worth it.

I didn't see anyone stressing getting the coils wet on the GS when I researched them but you Really Need to be sure they are wet before you fire them.
