i started with a blu, fell for the hype, it worked for me at first, but i did not care for the battery life, after that i upgraded to a riva 510 i LOVED it batteries laster me all day, fairly small and inconspicuous, after that, i picked up a 3.7/6v saber touch in the classifieds here, was a great little mod, used it all the time, but 6v is kinda harsh, and 3.7 is kinda weak for me, so now im using a VV ali'i and i love this thing, i can tune the voltages to my juice, which i do all the time, some of my juices with chocolate in them taste funky at 5v, so i dial it down to 4.6/4.5 and its awesome, then other juices are great at 5/5.5v also i wanted a juice feeder, i got fed up with cartos and carts. the ali'i has everything i wanted in a vapeing experience. well worth the change i dropped on it.

Ok I'll bite

I started with both a kr808 900mah batt and a t-rex ego

The mod(s) I currently use are the REO grand and mini.

Grand/mini

Pros
Firing switch has a lock so it's also a kill switch
All mechanical
Made of air craft aluminum so it's tough as nails
Feed system works perfectly for me
6ml bottle lasts me more than a day/3ml usually last me all day
18650 batt lasts me more than a day/14500 750 mah last me all day
Very consistent hits
No leaks
Can be used at 3.7, 5v, 6v, 6.4v, and 7.4v with batteries (grand)

Cons for some people
Not VV
Not native 801 connection (woodvils will have this option)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Hope this helps

Well i started off using a friend of mines blu and figured there had to be better products out there online and I found this forum. From there I started out with a box mod from kens box mods and loved it.I then decided to move onto a juice feeder system called the stewie juicer that was being sold by a member of another forum. I have since moved onto the BB with a low resistance atomizer and drip and vape me some Kick Bass vapor and are loving every minute of it.

On a side note: them REO grand mods look bad ... but are a little pricey for me.

Started with:
- Blue (I didn't know any better--co-worker ranted and raved about it)
- Volcano (I'm biased)
- Volcano Magma (I'm biased)

Current:
- Reo Mini (only con, is it's physical shape--I would prefer stick shape--functionally, no cons)
- Old Goat's box mod (priced right, used as backup for mini)
- Leo (it was new, I was curious-gave one set away)
- Volcano Inferno (I'm biased)
- eGo (I like the cigar shapes)
- eGo Tank System (doesn't play well with my juices--nonetheless, I like the concept)
- VapeMate (I like it--works well with my juices)

Enroute:
- Infinity (my first venture into the VV world--priced right with batteries and charger)

Waiting for inventory:
- MapTank (to use in conjuction with the Infinity)
- Giantomizer (to use in conjuction with the Infinity)

I use mostly 100% VG.

I've read about vaping to another level with VV's...so, I purchased the Infinty.

I'm using a Silver Bullet.
Cons:
---Not much different vapour than with a 510 standard, but this should change with a low resistance atomizer, I've been told.
---No ventilation holes incase of battery meltdown (I'm going to drill some myself)
---The price is a lot considering its just a tube. I'm happy with my purchase, but I won't say it is worth the cost. Its good enough that I don't feel bad about buying it, though.

Pros:
---The thing looks gorgeous, not over the top, just really slick. It also feels great in my hand. Its a pretty big mod, but I like the size and heft. The button is also very smooth. I feel 'cooler' with this mod than I do with my 510.
---Because the silver bullet can take an 18650 battery, it last a lot longer than most. Though this is true for all mods in this class.

I started with the SafeCig. Never had a problem with it. I liked the taste of the prefilled cartos it came with (Tobacco flavor) and I'd say it's still the best flavor I've had. I never had a problem with the battery BUT, I work from home and I always had it plugged into my computer when I wasn't using it. I never tested it while I was out for long periods of time. The only Con is that I don't know what style the SafeCig is, so I don't know what parts will work with it, also the prefilled catros they sell are pricey ($12.50 for 5)

Soon after I got the Joye eGo starter kit from Liberty-Flights. I only use one of the Batteries that came in the kit and I keep the other stored away. It works great, the battery life is wonderful. I've taken it with me on nights were I was bar hopping and I've had no problem with the battery dying out on me.

I also have an manual 510 Mega Battery from MadVapes which works just as well as my eGo but the battery life is a bit shorter. I normally have both the eGo and the 510 Mega Battery with my when I'm out that way I can not only have a back-up, but two different flavors with me.

I use the empty 510 catros from LiquidXpress and they are GREAT! Very easy to refill, very easy to clean, and I have yet to have one stop working.

I use the empty cartos from LiquidXpress

Started with a kr808d-1 from V4L; still use it as my 'out and about' PV. Gotta love the convenience of screwing on a carto and vaping. V4L (and others) have some great flavored pre-filled cartos.

My first mod was the ProVape 1. It's just one of those big batt mods. I use it at home and drip exclusively with it. No complaints with this mod whatsoever! Very durable, very reliable. Was thinking of upgrading to their variable voltage ProVari model, just to experience the hype with vaping at different voltage/resistance until I got...

The Reo Grand. Simply put, this is what vaping is all about imo. Fill a 6ml bottle with your favorite juice and puff away all day. No dripping, no headaches...Well made and beautiful to boot!

I will not go into the route but my collection is growing since I reward myself for hitting milestones:

4 month - ProVape -1
Pro's
Solidly build
feels nice in hand
Batts readily available
Still use it daily
true 3.7 vesus ego style batts and it drives a Cisco LR306 perfectly
good batt life

Cons
None other than single voltage. This unit has 100's of hours of use and has been dropped three times and still work flawlessly

5 month reward - ProVari
Pro's
too many to list. 3.3 to 6V with one 3.7V batt. This unit is simply amazing and easy to use

Con's
Some find it heavy since it does use 18XXX batts. Not condusive to stealth vaping. When you whip this bad boy out there is no hiding it.

6 month - Infinity
Yet to arrive (hopefully tomorrow)

If you had to buy one MOD I would suggest a VV. For the extra cash you are getting a unit that can be dialed in for any juice/atty/carto combo to produce the best flavor and TH.

Started with a PureSmoke....no pros all cons....I'm at the 50 week mark now and have had many of the better known mods...Mostly all were good....Currently using a Buzz....Variable voltage rocks...no cons at all with the Buzz....Just received the Infinity Monday..Compared too the Buzz it's slimmer, lighter and has a wheel to control voltage. I drip the Buzz and use a carto on the Infinity...All is good with both....

Started with a 3.7v RoughStack from MadVapes. Still using it now, and it's never let me down. All mechanical, switch is easily replaced if it ever goes out. Battery lasts all day. Dropped it a bunch on the concrete and you can't tell. The price for me as a beginner was perfect, especially considering what it came with. Two atomizers, two batteries, and a charger alone would run you about $30.

$75 got me:

1 Rough Stack Unit
2 Protected 1200mah 18350 batteries
1 AD-103 Multi function Li-Ion Battery Charger
2 510 Atomizers (3.2 ohm)
5 Empty 510 round cartridges(with filling but no e-liquid)
1 10 ml e-Liquid (specify preference in comments at checkout. If not specified then we will pick a flavor at 18mg)

RoughStack Kit

As advertised, it's definitely not the sexiest mod on the market, but man it works great and hides in the palm of your hand.

I will say, however, I am done with dripping and all that...my next mod will be a Reo Mini since that is a bottom fed mod, which holds a bottle of juice within the unit and feeds the atomizer.

Good Luck,

ice
