Please recommend a smooth e-liquid to me :)

Hi all!

Got my DSE901 earlier, and think I'm getting to grips with it. However I'm not keen on the juice I ordered with it. I'm not looking for anything harsh, and I'm not looking to get a 'throat hit' as such.

I've tried the Marlboro cartridges (Low, Medium, High) it came with, and the 'Diamond' Chocolate High e-liquid I ordered, but it's not as smooth as I was hoping for.

I want something smooooooth, which doesn't leave the back of my nose and throat feeling like I've been snorting an acid cloud.

Don't mind what flavour it is (can be anything!) as long as it's smooth.

Cheers all, looking forward to posting more on here :)

Must be easy to get hold of in the UK, and preferably cheap :D

Ok, I can think of three options:

1 Get some juice from Freesmoke - very tasty, smooth but expensive and is not UK based - www.Freesmoke.eu

2 Check out Johnson Creek juice when it's back in stock here - E-Cigs.co.uk, Online Store It has a reputation for being fairly smooth but it has had troubles with blocking atomisers in the past and hasn't had much feedback since they changed the recipe.

3 Squeeze the juice from your cartridge fillers and dilute it with vegetable glycerine. The glycerine smooths flavours but it dilutes the nicotine too and you might want to add food flavours to get some extra taste. Some of us buy 36mg juice to dilute with glycerine because even dilute it still has a lot of nic. More info on making your own juice here - DIY e-liquid - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat This is the cheapest option but there are some start up costs for flavourings and glycerine.

Smoooth.. Hmm, I did buy e-liquid from "liquid shop" they had menthol flavor
I bought 2 50ml bottles from them, but I was upset with there not being enough what you call it "throat kick"..lol Maybe you'll like menthol kind, though I have to say it is smooth. I can't really compare to other ones I smoked cause I have only tried one other one and that one was Marlboro flavor
I found that one quite smooth aswell, next I hope to try coffee flavor that one I heard had a "throat kick" hmm, who knows maybe menthol is your one.
I found it quite smooth.:)

I'm also on the lookout for smooth flavor. I have the Strawberry from Freesmoke, high nic content. And I too get that feeling like i've been swallowing wool or something and it makes my tongue feel scratchy. The flavor doesn't matter but I just want it to be mellow and good nic content. I'm afraid to try JC juice with all the bad stigma that it might burn out the atomizer.

Ya gotta try Janes Kick juice, she has it from no nic, to 24mg. Email her for the smooth, but, here is a short list. Honey dew, cherry, almond, toasted toffee(ry4), chocolate, menthol, tnagerine, strawberry, various tobacco's.....she has the biggest selection I have seen personally. Never a problem with clogging, AND she has shown me the testing.:thumb: IMHO it would be worth it to have it shipped, especially if you are exchanging pounds, it is downright cheap. Katy sells it also, ebay too.

Hi Steph, it would be good if you would write your thoughts on Freesmoke eliquid on the review thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/electronic-cigarette-reviews/612-freesmoke-e-liquid.html Not many of us have tried it and there aren't enough reviews to get a broad idea of what it's like.

I've found that diluting high strength commercial eliquid with glycerine smooths it out and, for me, takes away irritation.

I think you must be right.

Anyway, my experience so far :

This morning woke up with a really dodgy throat - like when you have a cold. Coughed quite a lot of gunk up. But - having been out with the e-cig today, I can honestly say I'm enjoying it much more than I did last night. I'm not getting as much of a 'hit' off it, and am actually experiencing more flavour, which is good.

I wasn't a very hardcore smoker for the past 10 months, it's been either low strength menthols, low strength brands, or Golden Virginia / Gold Leaf roll-ups - and I rolled them pretty thin so no doubt I got bugger all nicotine from them.

I'll just stick to Low / Medium nicotine solutions for now I think, even though I'm adapting to the high strength that would be a bit of a backward step.

Cheers for the advice all!

Its the nicotine that produces the stingy feeling in your throat not the flavour. If you want good nic content then your gonna get throat and lung kicks. But every person is also different and you probably just a little more sensitive than others.

I guess I am more sensitive. It wasn't this harsh when i smoked cigs. I hear the penstyle 4 hole atomizer makes for an easier hit, i might give that a try. Oh and sorry For some reason i said freesmoke, i actually bought from puresmoker. ya'll confused me lol. maybe i should try medium nic content. It seems e-smokey has johnson creek juice now, any reviews on that?
