Apparently there are many vapers encouraging people NOT to submit comment to regulations.gov but the submit them to freetovape.org instead.
If people want to submit to freetovape.org, go for it. But that should be secondary to actual, official submissions to regulations.gov.
What I was told by an individual who accused me of knowing nothing about the regulations (which I have studied extensively), is that if you make a single error FDA will not accept your submission. What worries me is that I head the same phrase from a local vendor the other day.

I'm very worried about the comments this could cost us. Please encourage every vaper you know to submit their comment to regulations.gov! If they also want to submit something to freetovape, have at it. But submitting to regulations.gov and obtaining a tracking number is the only way to know your comment was received.
(I have tried for several days to address my concerns to whoever is responsible for the site with no response.)/QUOTE]

Streamlined directions are here. Go ahead even if it's ONE paragraph!

CASAA: STREAMLINED VERSION of Fourth Call to to Action for FDA Proposed Regulations - Submit Comment

Once again someone is spreading false rumors about freetovape. I answered one here:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ick-way-make-big-difference.html#post13836409

There is no problem with filing through freetovape - they have the same docket number as CASAA and the only difference is they plan to hand deliver the comments which - see the link - is perfectly acceptable by the FDA' own rules. I hope there's no 'video' coming out with the false data this time. No hit on pbasardo since he corrected the last one. Just hope this doesn't spread like it did the last time.

The poster also posted the same wrong data at vaper's den. You might want to correct the person where you got it on facebook. And perhaps find out where they got their information.

I have no connection to freetovape and suggest people use that as well as CASAA's instructs, (or both) to make their comments.

I have no objection to Free To vape submitting comments on paper on peoples' behalf. I have a HUGE objection to someone spreading a rumor that if someone using the CASAA directions makes a small mistake, their comment won't count. And the OP on FB has been told that by a lot of people she meets. But I will add our concern to FB.

Yeah, that sucks too, although that is something that came up (internally) in the very CASAA first alert:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...action-alert-omb-oira-today.html#post13267936

.. where people had to resubmit. Most here (not all) were able to correct then, but that shouldn't be a problem now if people just follow the instructions in the streamlined CASAA version. :)

What constitutes an error in a personal comment? If errors were taken into account then all the ANTZ comments would have to be thrown out wholesale, as they are literally bursting with errors (falsehoods).

Absolutely agree. And I have urged FDA to do just that - summarily dismiss ANTZ comments as conflicted junk science and unsubstantiated propaganda. You can find my write up on my ECF blog, together with a list of 129 ANTZ whose comments should be discarded with extreme prejudice.

You guys have it all wrong. Any indication of intention of refusal to die constitutes an error (since if we SUCCESSFULLY quit with NRT, we would not be NRT customers anymore, which is the problem they're complaining about in the first place.)
