Hi everyone,

E-Go Twist user at between 3.5 and 4 volts using Visions clearo's

I've tried about 30 or so tobacco juices, both 16 and 24mg aprox (mainly like VG ) but they all suck! Either too harsh or have a hay or robust taste.
I smoked an ultra light cig.
Just tried the complete Halo line too, yuck! Now have about 30 bottles of juice I can't use unless I add a touch of fruit flavor to hide the tobacco.

If there isn't a ready made juice for me perhaps someone could suggest a flavor and I could get my own VG based nic and do it that way.

Appreciate it,
Charlie

The harshness may be coming from the higher nicotine levels. Are you sticking to VG for any specific reason? I've been told PG gives better flavor, VG gives clouds of vapor, so a mix of both (i prefer 70 PG/30 VG) would probably get you the best of both worlds. As far as vendors, ECF has a list of vendors available for you to browse. Also ECF has a post regarding the top 5 e-juice vendors of choice, I suggest you find someone who posted why they chose who they chose so you can hopefully find someone with similar tastes. Hope that helps.

Absolutely HHV!!! Gandalf, Heavenly Tobacco, and Dark Horse are all pretty fabulous tobacco vapes. And I've hated every single tobacco juice I've tried. I just got a sample of the Dark Horse today and I'm pretty sure it'll be gone by the end of the day. Oh, and the rest of their juices are pretty fabulous too :)

I'm a previous ultra light marlboro smoker and for the last 4 months have spent quite a bit of money sampling many tobaccos. Vermillion River has a Kentucky Premium Blend tobacco that worked for me coming off analogs for about the first 3 months. I've recently switched to mostly vg juices and crystal eliquid's ry4 double tobacco is my favorite at this time. No strange aftertastes and it's a clear liquid. Vaperite also has smooth tobaccos, I especially like the organic tobacco which is a 50/50 mixture. You can't go wrong with any of these.

Try the tobacco line at heathers heavenly vapes. They're all very smooth (to me) and they can all be purchased in 100% VG.

As per your suggestion to me the other day I placed an order with them and I'm just waiting for them to ship it.
I got the tobacco and a few others, so thanks again....

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. It appears that there are many fans of HHV so I can't wait for them to ship my first sample order. I've taken note of the other juices/vendors and will order that tomorrow.
I'm ordering about 10 juices a day so I hope my persistence will prevail........

Thank you everyone,
Charlie

Now here's the thing. I've found that just because someone or lots of people like juices from one particular place, you may hate them! I kept hearing how RAWR flavor were the ultimate, and so I ordered a sampler, and got 6 flavors, and didnt really care for any of them! They arent tobacco flavors, but still...

I bought the Halo sampler of 4 tobacco flavors, and since they were the 1st juices I'd tried that actually tasted 'anything' like tobacco, I initially gave them a very good review. But then I tried blending a few tobacco flavors with a honey cured flavor that didnt seem to include tobacco flavor in it(!), with some menthol, and I started vaping it for 2 days, then I went back to the Halo Torque 56 which I liked before, and compared with my custom blend(that I must have gotten lucky with!), the Torque 56 is now blah.... Its now too rough tasting compared with my blend, so maybe thats the trick that'll work for you too.

If you try blending, you have to mix flavors just a little at a time into a separate little bottle, then vape some to taste it, before you commit to adding any new flavors into a large amount of your juices. Its trial and error. But if you only add a little to a little, then you dont waste much if it doesnt work out. Keep notes of the ratios you are mixing, then when you find good flavor combos, convert the mixture ratios to a larger scale and make a larger batch of it.

Good luck, and let me know if you want to trade some non-tobacco flavors that I have, that I dont like for some tobacco flavors you have that you didnt like. I've got 6 RAWR bottles and many more!

Not sure why you would even want to vape a tobacco juice when there are so many out there, but I tried some tobacco flavors in the beginning. One came to mind while reading your post. One of my first tobacco flavors bought was US Tobacco by DFW Vapor. I thought of this because I thought it was too light for me. 70/30 PG/VG though. Might not help. Just my :2c:

I greatly appreciate all of this info. Some I was aware of, some not.
I have more liquid coming in the next few days and once I'm done mixing I'll let you know what I have that I don't want.
Naturally these jiices will have a drop or two missing. I've traded before and it's a great way to try out juices as well as save a few bucks!

Again, my thanks and I've noted your username in my little eliquid book.
Cheers, Charlie

Thanks for your thoughts, you answered me before too and I appreciate it.
Here's the thing on Tobacco.
I've been so hooked on cigs (and still use but have cut 50%) my mind is convinced that I NEED a tobacco liquid.
I KNOW I may find a yummy Butter rum that I love one day and I also know that tobacco flavors are nasty. Well, let's face it cigs are not tasty. I think I've just convinced myself that to give up cigs completely I need to find a juice that is really close to a cig.

Having said that I'm close to the realization that one doesn't exist.

I'm trying my best and determined to succeed and I guess that's all that matters, right?

Take care,
Charlie

I've had a similar thought Charlie.

I've been vaping on and off for roughly a year, I am still to quit.

My rationale is that I've chosen flavours that are 'too fun' and have to fall back on analogs when in smoking circles because it doesn't have the same 'flavour hit'.

Thanks for recommendations, how quickly can HHV deliver?

I think one needs to put themselve's in the frame of mind that vaping will never be EXACTLY like smoking but...... the more you do it and given you have the right juice it get's easier.
I placed my order with HHV on Sunday and here in the states Monday was a holiday so I hope I hear something from them today as I paid for priority shipping.

I had the same issue when I started vaping because my husband quit analogs vaping banana and peppermint and I was like no way I'm vaping banana, I want tobacco! So I'm constantly on the hunt for a good tobacco juice. Still after so many trials I know there is not any one tobacco juice that tastes like a cig (which is good), it's still what works for me. I haven't really tried mixing any yet, but I have a few tobacco samples I'd be glad to send you if you'd like to try some. I just traded the HHV tobaccos I had so I don't have any of those left. They are highly recommended on this forum, but just didn't work for me. It's interesting how everyone tastes something different in each juice. I definitely didn't taste tobacco in the ones I tried, but even my taste changes and I'm not able to vape some of the juices I originally loved. PM me your address and I'll be glad to send you a couple samples of what I have.

You may want to try the tobacco flavors from The Vapor Room. The Vapor Room.net | Vaporize Nicotine | E Cig Atomizers I haven't found one I didn't like so far: Cuban, Ginger's Tobacco, Hazelnut Tobacco, Ginger's RY4... Good menthols too. Smooth stuff that actually has something going on there that reminds me of tobacco. Especially the Cuban smells like the real thing.

They do sell samplers and 1st time customers get a free 15ml bottle plus every order includes a free 3 ml sample too. Watch their weekly specials on flavors to see if something pops up in the tobacco line. Dunno if you were looking for 100 VG but they do offer it for the entire line.

I really have not found any flavors that taste exactly like a cig. I have found flavors that do taste tobacco-ish. I have bought just as many(actually more) that dont taste like tobacco at all. But in my original kit that I got 16 days ago, it came with 5 pre-filled 1.1ml Ego-T/C tanks with menthol tobacco e-liquid. But ALL the tobacco flavors I got with that order from Totally Wicked had a bad top note flavor and scent, if top-note is the right description. The taste wasnt good, so I actually switched to just using a DIY mix of unflavored nicotine liquid with diluent, diluted to about 11mg/ml nicotine ratio. So I was vaping an unflavored juice for the first 2 days, which should tell you how bad the 7 flavors I got with that order really were!

But, after 2 days of sitting, the bad top note tobacco flavor in those little pre-filled tanks steeped away, as did the smell. So then the menthol tobacco was actually OK. So I vaped it for 2 days til I got a better fruit flavor in. Then the same bad flavor in the bottles of tobacco flavored e-liquid I got from TW also steeped away after about a week, so I used the Totally Wicked tobacco e-liquid as a base to mix other flavors with. Problem was, I ordered it in super-high 36mg/ml nicotine which I discovered was 3 times higher than I needed, so it had to be mixed and diluted. Then I added MUCH PG/VG diluent. I also mixed in a little Halo Freedom juice, Torque 56, Aromaejuice's "Nuport"(not much tobacco flavor) for its semi-sweet menthol flavor, and a little Vapor Zone "Honey flue cured" concentrate(which has no noticeable tobacco flavor). I mixed a little at a time of each flavor separately, then would later decide to try adding another flavor a little at a time, which is how I ended up with so many flavors mixed in there.

So I ended up with about 25ml of what has now become my all day vape for the last few days. It still doesnt taste like a menthol ciggy, but it tastes good and close enough to tobacco(80-90%) that it fits the bill. I think that the better quality tobacco e-liquids taste more like a top shelf tobacco with complexity and varying flavor notes, whereas real cigs are cheap, non-complex flavors.

I also just ordered the Heather's Heavenly Vapes sampler with 4 tobacco flavors. I still have not tried any juices made from real tobacco extraction(or NET).

Thanks for turning me on to these vendors~ I agreee. So did others I shared with. Very clean, smooth stuff, esp. that CE RY4 you liked. :)

I know you experiment with a lot of tobacco like juices, so I also like to hear what you have to say about them......I think you know these lines very well.
