Hi all,
Here's a tip I just found to use a plugged carto. I got a couple plugged-on-arrival mega dual coil cartomizers in a pack - the pinhole airholes on the sides of the threaded tip look like they were never punched out (or if there's some inner metal lining, the holes don't line up with the outer ones). As a result, they only draw air through the bottom hole. Trouble is, screwing them for a good connection down on my noEgo, there just isn't any airflow.
So, screw in the ego-T 510-to-510 adapter, which has a big ol' hole in the bottom. This elevates and exposes enough of an air passage that when the carto is screwed into the adapter (and the adapter on the noEgo), voila! Plenty enough airflow and strong connection! It extends the length by a couple mm, but there's $2.80 not wasted.
I imagine a similar solution would work for the ePower and ego.
