I purchased two new Ego-C batteries. I'm using a Stardust clearomizer. I put the clearomizer on one of the batteries, worked great. Then I put it on the other battery and it seemed plugged up. I put the same clearomizer on another Ego-C I have, and it worked great, back to the plugged up one....same thing.

Is this even possible? I don't *think* it's my clearomizer, but how could it be the battery? Hate the idea of having to return the battery back to where I bought it, just to be told it had to be my clearomizer.

It happens, the center post on the ego just doesn't have a consistent height. Some might be pushed down by user after repeated usage. I wish those stardusts have longer center post instead so that it can fit well into the different egos across the board without affecting the airflow.

What i do is use an 510/ego extender with stardust, no matter on which ego i'm attaching it to.

Sounds like the same problem I am having with my new Ego-C Twist 650s. I am using Kanger T2 Rebuildable Clearomizers (LR). I haven't tried to do anything yet with the contact on the battery. Should I? It seems I get a few really good hits and then all of a sudden not so much. Frustrating!
Are you keeping the contacts and threads on the battery and carto super clean by wiping with a damp tissue or even better wiping with a cotton swap dipped in rubbing alcohol?

I have been wiping pretty often with a Kleenex. I just got them 2 days ago.

Oh. So basically they are spotless then with no juice on the center pin. If there is misfiring, perhaps the battery's center pin has been slightly pushed down, so not making a good contact with the carto. You can try to carefully raise it a hair's-breadth. Only do this if you are sure that you have checked other possibilities for poor contact.

I am noticing a little bit of leakage onto the batteries after just a few hits. Thought I better recheck what is going on here ; ) I have tried a couple of my clearomizers with both batts and same issue all around. Bad batteries or bad clearos? Confused!

Hmmm... Hard to say. Does it seem as though you have no power from the battery, or the clearo is not vaping consistently? Are your batteries fully charged?
Oh and leaking from the bottom of the clearo is par for the course unfortunately. That is why I have switched to the Mini Vivi Nova! No leaking at all.

Battery power fine.....been keeping both charged up. Seems more of a clearo issue I'm guessing. Just opened my last new one and it leaked BAD. Thanks dragonbone....maybe I'll give the Mini Vivi Novas a try.

Aghhhhh! I know what you are going through. Leaking cartos and clearos are the pits! I promise you will NOT be disappointed in the Mini Vivi. Not only does it look great, it works like a charm and NO leaking. Plus you can mix around different color plastic tubes and 7 different color metal tubes, and your own (although you get a stock one in the box) driptips, to make it just the way YOU want it to look. Also the heads come in different resistances. You get three in the box to start you off with.
Don't forget to get a steel eGo cone thingy to cover the threads of your eGo and also to stabilize it. They come in silver, black and gold.

Good luck!

Not all v. stardusts are created equal. I had this happen once before and didn't think nothing of it until it happened recently and then it was happening every time. I have one stardust that was knocking the batt off line - stay with me ;).... I'd screw on the carto and the battery would stop - no led, no 5 clicks to turn on (it's an eGo-c upgrade batt) and I'd put it on a charger and all is well - works with an eGo-c atty fine, then try the carto again and no led/no power. Put it back on the charger, led lights up, all is well, etc. Tried it a third time after 'adjusting' the center post in the carto and it happened again. Then I did something I shouldn't have done - remember Scottbee's experience with the Riva's - killed two within a minute. I put it on an SE Riva I had around and it shorted out the batt. No respawning on this one. Batt is dead. I'm figuring it's the new short protection Joye put into the eGo-c's where they must detect and shut off before any damage is done (I'm just guessing from what my experience was there). The eGo-c still works. I didn't even want to try it on the TWIST - so I set aside the stardust in the dustbin..... I just got some new stardusts from Nhaler and tried one on the same battery and no problem - these are the CE5/rebuildables - as was the one in the dustbin - and the draw is better than any of my other stardusts - short wicks on these although I did get a few long wick replacement coils too.

Anyway - although it isn't the same exact problem as the OP (or at least I don't think it is) it was batt related - actually stardust related and thought I'd pass that along. Be interested if anyone else has had a similar experience.

As many of you know, I have had great luck with the eGo-c attys and haven't had some of the problems that some have had - perhaps mainly due to the fact that I split up vaping time with about 4-6 pv, but I'm liking the rebuildable stardusts - at least the ones I got from nhaler and have more coming from heaven gifts on the slow boat (airmail) - should be here soon. I'm getting a better draw on these last ones than I am on the b-types eGo-c's so I find myself going to the stardusts a bit more just lately at home but when I'm going out, I take the eGo-c's - that may change. I like the draw a bit better on the stardusts and the 'opening up the draw trick' on video does work.

Where do you get yours from? I know there are a lot of great vendors here but I am still pretty new to all of this and a recommendation would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I buy all my gear (except juice) from Health Cabin. Excellent prices, good customer service and quality products. They are registered suppliers here on the ECF, so 100% reliable. They are in China though... So not sure if you mind ordering international? Anyway, go look at their store, just to see what is available and get an idea of prices. Even if you end up shopping locally, Health Cabin is still good for info. Many US stores are just very vauge on the actual specs etc. on products.

If you do want to shop there and need any links or help or whatever, let me know, and I can help.
