Plume Veil BF conversion

A little tip.... Make sure your juice passages point to the front and back of the atty not side to side (negative posts) to reduce leaks.... It matters.

Yeah, found that out too, ha ha! I just turned it like that for the picture, lol.

EDIT: I didn't read that correctly, I thought you meant the airflow paths. But yeah, I did make the channels front to back, but I still tend to over squonk when not looking. I figured better safe than sorry, and by sorry I mean reaching into a wet pocket, lol.

Don't know exactly how that Infinity clone is built but you should be able to unscrew the positive pin then remove the center post and just push out the delrin insulators. Other option if this clone doesn't unsrcew is to drill the sides of the positive pin from underneath parallel to the center post through the delrin insulators all the way through to the deck. Effectively all you want to do is two small holes each side of the positive pin through the delrin so juice can get to the deck.

Word of caution if you do drill take it slow and back off every now and then because it's easy to brake those thin drill bits. If you're not comfortable doing this better get Chowderhead to do it for you

Ok if you have the center post out find yourself a drill bit that fits enough to use to tap the delrin out. I seriously doubt it's glued, it's probably just press fit so give it a good tap pith a drill bit and a hammer and it should come out. I would put the base in really hot water for 5 min then try tapping it out. metal expands with heat and that should help to get the delrin out.

I couldn't get the top insulator out of the one I modded. I ended up grabbing a small file and did it from the top; not preferred but worked none the less

I did a Mephisto clone. Easy mod, and it works great. Afc doesn't leak, big holes make set up very easy.

Hot water and a tap did the trick. I am now the proud owner of a bottom fed Plume Veil.

Just wanted to say thanks for the pics. I'm partially through my mod so far, just having some issues with the bloody delrin, hot water didn't work so I'm going to soak it in lightly boiled water for 5 and see if I can pop them out...

Just did mine today, and then discovered this thread. LMAO








After trying dual coil I switched to single coil and added more wick.
Dual Coil just did not do anything for the flavor of the juice.
