Got my copper plume veil clone from FT about 2 weeks ago only built on build when I first got it (dual parallel 26g .22ohms) has worked beautifully with no issues. I decided to do a new build on it last night & now it will not fire or get a reading from my ohm reader no matter what kind of build I put on there. I did 5 different builds on it none of which worked. The center post rotates not easily but it does move, which I thought was part of the design. I'm really bummed out cuz this is by far them best rda I own & when working it hits like a dream. Has anyone else run into this issue? I'm thinking of getting a v1.5 hopefully they fixed this issue with that one if not I'll just get the authentic

Thanks!! I will try that when I get home. So the positive block should spin independently to the 510 screw? Is it reverse threaded? You say the positive post shouldn't spin but I thought that was part of the design to accommodate quad coil builds

the postive block should not be spinning at all. the only way i was able to get mine from spinning was to not push it in all the way-which can also cause the 510 positive pin to not make a connection, which would in turn not fire.

this is the example of the positive center block and positive 510 pin that connects it:

and this is an example of how it should and shouldnt look-the incorrect one shows too much insulator-its seated too high which allows it to spin and also not seated enough into the base so that the positive pin can connect to it.

my first instinct on guessing what the issue is, is that the positive pin and/or positive block is just sitting there, if you can spin the positive block but the 510 positive pin it connects to doesnt spin, that might be a good indicator that it might be causing the issue.

As far as building quad coils, i wouldnt really recommend the plume veil as the most efficient platform to build that on due to space and not very good airflow setup on it for quad coils, but you still could.

I'm having a similar problem on my Plume Veil clone. Out of the box it worked like a champ. Day 2 and a new build, and there seems to be a short at the bottom of the center post. Lights up like a little ring of fire. Seems to only happen when it sits with some excess juice on the deck. Dry it a bit and it fires, but seems to lag a bit. Any tips or anyone know of a replacement center insulator?

Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue, it is caused by the positive post lifting up. Take your top cap off and remove the RDA from a mod and push down on the positive block and you'll see the bottom pin coming down. Last time I buy a cheap clone.
