But according to steam engine that only really like 5 maybe 5 1/2 wraps at most for a .20 ohm. Or am i reading that wrong? I usually dont go more than six and when i pulse the coils i usually push them together gently with a pair of needle nose pliers.

7 wraps of 26g around a 2mm screwdriver would generally come out to about .75ohm for a single coil.
5 wraps would need to be wound around a 3mm driver to come out at .75.

There's really no cut-and-dry guide to x gauge + y wraps = z ohms, without knowing what diameter your coil is/will be.
Even then, you absolutely need a meter to know exactly what you have, and whether or not it's got any shorts.

A few questions for you guys: whats the best way to clean the connection pin in the top cap of a turtleship mod v2? How often should i clean it and if im using an NXJO IMR battery (18650) thats a 3.7 volt 2500mah do i have to fear of my mod ever exploding? Right now my dual coil is running at about .40. Is that too much for this battery? The coils are at about 6 wraps. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

About the flavour issue, you guys are going to laugh at this......

I got a plume veil a couple of months back, was super exited about playing with it and new to building coils so changed them out evry three or four days or so (its fun!). Was feeling pretty good, chucking clouds and king of the world. Then one day after changing the coils I started getting this horrible burning plastic taste, but couldn't figure out what it was. Washed it out, changed wicks, changed juice, everything. Put it on the shelf for a couple of weeks, then came back at it determined to figure out the problem, took it all apart and discovered that I had built the coils too high, and that the plastic thing that controls the airflow by the drip tip had actually been touching the coils as they heated and that the burning taste was not only it melting, but my own sense of self worth. Just had to sand it down a bit to get it smooth again and it was fine. So if using 22gauge to make macro coils, from personal experience, I would recommend not letting them sit up too high!

Nothing like seeing your own stupidity up close too keep you humble.
