Was trying to figure out how to carry my VAMO with me , shirt pocket carry doesn't work because of length and weight . I had a flashlight sitting around that had spring clip and flashlight body was about the same diameter . Before putting it on my black chrome VAMO I took some clear shrinkwrap and put on the spring colar that goes around the body so it wouldn't mar the iffy black chrome finish . BINGO ! It works great ! It keeps the VAMO vertical in the pocket and doesn't slide around .:)

My Vamo came with a black cloth pouch that fits it fairly well. I figured I could loop a lanyard through the ties and just carry it around with me that way. It pretty much stays at home though, so I haven't given it more thought than that. I take my Twists and/or MVP to work. I figure less chance of me doing something stupid with it if I just keep it at home.

The only thing that you might want to make note of: The loops to the pouch that I have are tied closed. To make sure they don't untie and drop your pv to the floor, I'd suggest dripping a little candle wax over each knot. Should prevent the knots from slipping.

Crazy glue works well for that. Those strings are nylon so it bonds good. Literally though, one drop will do it.

Here's mine... I used a hose clamp, I placed a rubber ring underneath to avoid scratching the Vamo. ;)

If you own a mini maglite (AA version), the Vamo will fit very snugly in the case. The case is actually too deep so you have to stuff it with something to take up the depth. The case has a top loop and you can run a carabiner through it, or in my case, a SS shackle from Home Depot for a neck carry. I use this when I go fishing and it works very well.
