Open pod system (refillable)
Minimum 2ml capacity
Small form factor is always a plus
Metal alloy body holds up better than plastic
650mah+ battery
battery light indicator that can be turned off or covered up with finger if needed
LOTS OF QC - I'm tired of getting defective pod devices or ones that leak all over

Minimum 650 mAh battery capacity.

Variable voltage- 4 levels- changeable with 3 clicks of fire button-simple enough to do.

2ml plus refillable pod.

Replaceable high ohm coils.

Kinda like this.

Small-- preferably pen size
Refillable
Draw activated
Cigarette-like draw and vapor production
No leaks
Red/yellow/green LED battery indicator
Removable and washable mouth piece (cleanliness is next to godliness!)
350 mah battery with quick 20 minute charge (for pen size device)
2 ml pod capacity
Pods last at the very least 1 week
Easily disassembled so that you can replace the cotton and/or coil
Constant voltage --no drop off as the battery depletes
Temperature control to prevent burnt wicks

I'm not much on pods but for me an important feature would be open (fillable) pods and I'd be more interested in a 4 ml pod. IDK, easy to carry, easy to vape. Good safety features. Pods wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I'm guessing a variety of coil types (yes, including higher resistance) might be nice. The way I imagine using a pod (sporadically) I don't know if that would make TC more important, or less. Quick charge would be nice, I'm not wild about passthrough design but I guess it makes sense in a pod. Etc.

I kind of feel like I'm asking for a lot, but well, IDK I would really need the RIGHT pod to be tempted.

If you can make it ages/legend like, I say GO for it because a pod would tend to be the kind of thing I would most carry with me, drop, get wet, etc.

What parameters do you expect to be included in the pod system?
- Replacable (non-proprietary) coils + refillable liquid reservoir.
- Enough battery power to last through the day.

Like the Aspire Nautilus AIO or the JT Mansion. They share coils with other atomisers. "Semipods", so to say.

Replaceable coils with different levels of resistance, refillable, quick charge, extra pods that are interchangeable even when filled, mouthpiece that fits in your mouth instead of some wide mutant mouth mouthpiece, doesn't leak which means no leakage at all. None is acceptable. Slim size that can be hidden in a hand for stealth vaping. A liquid indicator you can actually see. TC would be a great bonus but I guess I could live without it. I don't want much.
