My review of P.O.E.T's Americano Ciambella -

Thoughts:
I was sooooo amped for this juice. I'm a high-end juice connoisseur. Don't get me wrong, I have some normal-juice brands I love without all the flashy marketing/bottles/labels. However, I believe (in most cases) the higher-end juice brands & flavors tend to be not as strong, more subtle, more complex, and most of the time you can tell they're not just buying flavors from a manufacturer and mixing pure flavors together and then private labeling their brand to the market.
I try to keep an eye out for the e-juice brands that use organic flavors, real flavors, not just PG w/ artificial flavors. All that being said, I find myself on VapeRev a lot. They have a decent line-up of some of the higher end brands out there. I've been keeping an eye on P.O.E.T. e-juice since they launched their brand. I was always a little weary of buying their juice because VapeRev is the exclusive distributor I believe. We all know VapeRev knows their stuff when it comes to marketing/branding. So I thought POET was just a brand being pushed and marketed by VapeRev, I was wrong, you can definitely taste the quality, these guys know what they're doing!
Even though I gave this one flavor a mediocre review, I still recognize the quality and care that went into making this flavor - the flavor itself just didn't really agree with me. My bottle was steeped for 10 days.
On the flavor:
Vaped through (Vanilla mod, Turtle Ship, and Heimdall mech mods) Atomizers that I used - Kayfun 3.1, Patriot RDA, Kraken Genesis, Aqua Footoon, and last but not least, a GG ithaka. Wicks used: SS Cable w/ Ekowool Sleeves, 3mm Silica, Cotton wicks. I also used standard 3/4 wrap 28g kanthal, I also used micro coils, and I also used nano coils (nano dragon coils - RipTripper).
I gave this flavor a run through all my devices, I feel reviews of a juice that were just vaped through something like an Ego-T with a clearomizer is half ..., and you shouldn't go off what that person says, since they're only using 1 setup... and honestly clearomizers do not produce enough vapor in my opinion to really catch all the subtleties of a flavor.
After vaping my entire bottle, I can tell you the flavor that came out the most was maple. This juice COULD be sold as a maple doughnut bar w/ a dash of tobacco. I got those 2 flavors coming out the most through all my devices. The description of this product says "spicy cream with strong tobacco back". To me, IMO, there was no spicy cream. For the most part it was a odd mix of maple syrup and tobacco. The cinnamon flavor was there, but it was ever so slight. I think if I would have let the bottle steep for a full month, possibly the juice would be a little more leveled out flavor wise. But again, it was very obvious and very clear regardless of whatever wick/coil, device type you're using the two flavors that came through was definitely the MAPLE and a dash of tobacco with a hint of cinnamon.
I'm a huge cinnamon fan. To all cinnamon fans out there, do yourself a favor, try "apple jax" by epic juice through an RDA with standard silica. Still to this day, I feel that's the most complex cinnamon flavor on the market. Americano Ciambella could be a good flavor, the maple in my opinion is too, too strong. Also keep in mind - this flavor will completely stink up your room. The juice smell is overwhelming even when the bottle is shut tightly! I had to put it in a zip lock bag, inside another zip lock bag and I could still smell it in my room! If you like subtle flavors, pass this one up.
I think this flavor would best though a standard clearomizer tank. Clearomizer tanks don't pick-up flavor as well as some of the higher end atomizers on the market. IMO, it's just too strong for atomizers that produce tons of vapor, if you're a sub-ohm vaper this flavor could be too overwhelming for a daily vape. It's nice to have in your aresenal though for the occasional vape. However, if you're a beginner w/ an ego-t and a clearomizer tank and you love maple bar donuts, and you don't mind a strong deep flavor - give this a try!
I can't wait to try their other flavors though!
