Let me start off by saying that I will never again try out a strong juice in a 1.25 ohm dual coil cartomizer.
I received two bottles of e-juice from Quick nic juice by winning a contest here on ecf. I asked for the French Toast 18mg and Cinnamon Coffee Cake 12mg, both at 35%VG. I will be reviewing them on a 1100 mAh 3.7+ volt kGo (SLB) and a joye510.
French Toast is a brown liquid, but looks clean in its clear glass bottle. The label is very professional and clearly marked with a Warning. The bottle uses a screw-on glass dripper top and came with a spare plastic squeeze bottle. I first put the Fench Toast in a 1.25 ohm dual coil carto. The smell of the liquid was amazing, with maple and cinnamon and a hint of butter. So I take a first hit, a nice long double hit. You know the kind, where you take a mouthful, inhale it, then another mouthful as you exhale the first through your nose. Big mistake! This juice has a killer TH staight out of the mailbox. It felt like I used sandpaper to clean my windpipe. I was unable to finish this review (and unable to enjoy vaping) for two days.
Cinnamon Coffee Cake is light golden liquid with a strong smell of cinnamon. I am not putting this one in a dual coil! I put it into a 3.0 ohm Boge cartomizer. The first pull gives a strong taste of cinnamon. Very nice TH for a 3 ohm carto. Great vapor. The flavor is strong, as it should be. As I vape this flavor a few times, the cinnamon mellows a little and I can taste the sweetness as I inhale. This is a good flavor, with absolutely none of the odd tastes some vendors have. Nice and clean. I will let this steep for a week and repost my findings. For now I give it an 8/10 overall, losing points for the cinnamon being a little too strong. I hope the steeping helps blend the flavors.
French Toast redux. I am trying this flavor in a 3.0 ohm Boge cartomizer. It smells great, like maple syrup. The first taste is amazing. This tastes just like French Toast, smothered in a good maple syrup. Not the generic, store brand, watery syrup, but like a good name brand or home-made syrup. Just a hint of both butter and cinnamon. Vapor is great also. I can find nothing bad to say about this flavor. It is exactly like I would expect my French Toast to taste.
I have let my (19 yr old) son and (35 yr old) brother-in-law try this juice. They both love it also, and now I have to share the bottle. This is a must try! Give it a few days to steep, and you will love it (if you like French Toast). I give it a high 10/10 and put it in my short rotation. Brother-in-law says it is his new favorite. My son says it is "alright" which is far better than his usual "meh".
