looking for some experienced vapers to give me some really good pointers on everything i need to know to start vaping. I am going to order the janty ego as soon as one is in stock but was wondering if people could go over stuff with me as far as whether auto vs manual, what regular maintenance needs to be done, and what extra parts beside the kits i need to stock up on when i order. Also still wondering the difference between tawa annys and just the normal things like that thanks for all the info you have for me

if i typically smoke about a pack a day how much juice do you think i would go through in lets say a week

also how long do carts last before needing to be replaced (not refilled)

That a tough one, I smoke about 1.5 / 2 packs a day of lights, I use 5 mls of 12mg liquid a day. The average for 18mg I think is about 3ml a day. However,YMMV:)

Your talking about carts, like the ego uses right, and not cartos ?
I reuse my carts for weeks, I'd get maybe a boxes of 5 refillables.

Always get a 'manual' ecig, not an automatic.

You are in control with a manual (button) ecig but with an automatic it can be literally hit or miss, which can be very frustrating. If you want a consistent 'hit', you'll want to get a manual ecig. With an automatic you simply take a drag...and hope it works. :D

Order a pack of 510 cartomizers for your eGo, you will not regret it. Regular carts do not last long and need to be topped off often and also require some type of filler mod to work better but will still will not work even half as good as a cartomizer. I've saved a lot of juice from being wasted since switching, I went from 5 to 6 carts a day to 1 & half cartomizers per day.

I've read about an off taste and burning on the cartos, what's your experience there? Does anyone offer them in a flat tip like say a 901 or 510.

Manuals rule you have way more control over the hit you get. I don't care for carts or cartomizers, I just drip and you shouldn't do that with an automatic. It's all a learning curve to matter what you do it will take a while to hit your own sweet spot.

The liquid that tastes good one day will often not do it for you the next. If you are hoping for a really consistant experience I don't know what to say other than that I wish you luck. Just realize that you will have problems and that it will not always hit as well or taste as well as you are hoping for. It's all good and just have fun and enjoy.

OP- Have you looked at Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. for the eGo? That's where I got mine and they have super fast shipping and great customer service. I got my original 510 from them also. If you're in a hurry it might be worth a peek to see if they have what you're looking for.

And most importantly! Welcome and don't be afraid to ask questions. There are tons of people on here that are brimming over with answers :D (not me tho, I'm still a newbie)

I think those were the kr808 cartomizers that were prone to burning. The 510 cartomizers seem to do better, I will never go back to carts again.
