got enough in mine atm.Cool. You can have the ones in my yard!![]()
Begs the question why are there dandelions everywhere then. I got a good reason to dig em up now. I was avoiding it.
There was an implication that they were bitter and awful. Is this true?I eat dandelion, red and white clovers. Also, make tea outta of three of them.
My understanding is dandelion wine is rare and hard to make because you need a ridiculously large quantity of spring dandilion flower head’s in order to make it. There just isn’t a lot of juice in them.Had dandelion tea once, was ok. Have heard of dandelion wine but never had it.
Nah, they're not awful and to me they're not bitter... I'm a picky eater. If, I don't like the taste of something, I'll immediately spit it out. There was an implication that they were bitter and awful. Is this true?

I made some tea for my mom using all three, she didn't like it, I think it tastes good, especially after it's cold. So, it's all up to the individuals palate.
Nope, first time of hearing of Dandy tea. If you decide to get some, let know if you like it. Do you know what else is with it?Have you ever had Dandy tea? It's a pre-made dandelion blend. I was thinking of getting some to cut down on caffeine.
Red clover is my favorite loose herb to use for tea. With chamomile, skullcap and hops, it makes a good sleep tea.

When I drink tea before bed, I always have to get up and use the bathroom, than I can't get back to sleep.
During the winter months do you buy the red clover on the internet, at your local health food store or do you have enough to get you through the winter? I can't find any loose white clover on the internet for the winter, maybe I didn't look hard enough. I did find white clover tea on one site, but it was way outta my price range.
Ah, otay, thanks. I don't drink coffee. That's where I buy some herbs and tincturesDandy Blend is made with dandelion, chicory, rye and barley. It’s supposed to be a good coffee substitute. I’ve had Pero, which is the same thing without dandelion and it’s pretty good. I make it like Latte.
I buy herbs at Starwest. They have some of the best selection. Not cheap, but great quality. The herbs are dried fresh and look colorful, smell great etc. Check them out, it’s good to have a reliable herb source. It’s seems like every cool place to shop where I live closed down, so I basically use Starwest now.
If you can’t find White Clover, can you use something similar?
That’s too bad about drinking tea! Can you drink herbal infusions?
Ah, otay, thanks. I don't drink coffee. That's where I buy some herbs and tinctures. That's too bad the stores have closed down, that stinks. I haven't thought nor looked for an alternative for the white clover, but I probably won't look into it. Thank you for the suggestion.
I should've worded that differently. For the evening, I drink blueberry, Raspberry, and chamomile tea. I make sure to stop like an hour before going to bed, sorry about that.
Didn't even think about using leafChamomile is so good, and it would be great with berries. I'll have to get some. You're using the leaf?
My neighborhood had neat stores for a few years, and then one by one they closed. We even had 2 stores that sold crystals and good herbs. Now its easier to buy online.
I try to use herbal stuff instead of taking medicine. Works pretty well most of the time! Tinctures are really useful.![]()
that would taste wonderful mixed in with the blue and rasp berries.
