Polarity on a simple box mod?

If I am making a very simple box mod with nothing but a battery, 510 connector, and a switch, does it matter which wire goes to the center of the 510 connector? I ask because the way my box is made, it would be much more convenient and neat in there if I could run the positive to the outer shell of the connector and the negative up the center.

That's the way I do it.

Since you are only using a switch and atomizer you can wire it any way you like. The only time you have to worry about polarity is if you add an led, usb, or other electrical components.

I think you have to turn the switch around backwards if you run the negative terminal to the center of the atty.

Two backwards equal one forward
