Polishing Question

Going to be polishing the Brass 510 Hybrid top cap for my Prax1s mod today. First time ever polishing a vape related device and had a few questions. To polish it, I'm using Mothers Polish Mag & Aluminum polish and was told to use Never Dull once finished with the first polish with the Mothers Polish.

First question: Has anyone else used the two together on Brass? Would it be safe to use both and not harm the brass itself?

Second question: Would I have to wait a bit and let the top cap sit awhile before I slap it back into the mod and use it or is it good to go right after polishing?

Just trying to baby this mod since it is my first Authentic so please be nice if my questions seem silly

No need to use both, the mothers is an abrasive polish meaning it removes metal. It works good for smoothing things out. The neverdull should be used for general maintenance as it does not remove any metal. Use the mothers first, then use the mod. Eventually patina will form and at that point use the never dull to make it shiny again. The patina can effect the flow of electricity through contact points. When I use either product I give the parts a dawn dish soap cleaning to remove any residue.

If you find you like the patina, you can leave the patina on the outside of the mod, and just use the neverdull on any of the contact points.
