So Cal
This poll is meant for Aspire Atlantis owners only, in order for us to gather data on how long these replacement coils are lasting.

So, how long do your Atlantis replacement coils last on average?

Also, after submitting your vote in the poll, please state what PG/VG you typically run and at what average wattage.

And if you have any cleaning or care tips please post them here as well!

Thanks!

30/70 or 20/80 (PG/VG) depending on the flavor, all are clear at 0 mg/ml nicotine.
Aspire CF Mod Battery

Actually I get around 60-70 ml of juice through one coil.

What wattage are you using to get that much life out of your coils?

60-70 ml is incredible to what I am getting, 15-25 ml before the cotton has scorched for me! I too use high vg 70-80%, so this is perplexing me! I wrote Aspire with my concerns and they stated in their response that they have had QC issues with the coils. He asked me for my lot numbers from the box and I am waiting to hear back from them!

I use a 60/40 vg/pg blend at 25w I vape between 6 and 9 ml a day. If I am switching flavors drasticly I will remove the coil and roll the corner of a paper towel and insert it in the hole of the coil, then tightly wrap the rest of the paper towel around the outside of the coil and velcro it and leave it for a day or two...usually about the time I want to amke another drastic juice change. It does a really good job of removing the old flavor and does no damage to the coil.

Why not just soak in hot water then dry for 1-2 days to really get it clean?

I seem to be getting about a week to ten days or so before they get so gunked up that performance starts to suffer. I use mostly sweet juices and try my best to stay away from dark colors. Also this is the only clearo I've been using exclusively since I got it mid December. I probably put about 10ml a day or so through it.

The Aspire CF Mod battery is basically a mech mod with an 18650 battery. So the wattage varies as the battery voltage drops. But call it 25watts average.

Remember with all clearomizers, the juice itself plays a very important role of coil longevity. I vape a pineapple/cherry mix, which I've found to be very kind to all coils.

Ok so I've done some testing and found if the base is screwed to the tank really snug it will not allow the wick to function... loosen the base a little at a time until you can see air bubbles when you prime the coil. I've found that with the base screwed tight i kept burning coils in less then a couple hours. Now going on 3 days with cotton. All is well.

I keep mine pretty tight because that's the 510 male connection your screwing it into... I figured it needed to be tight in there to get a good connection.

I have found that my chain vaping was what was killing the coils... I was taking too many lung hits back to back and not allowing the coils enough time to wick more juice between hits. I'm now on day on day 6 with my coil! <-- Longest ever! Getting a second Atlantis helped too! :)

I'm speaking of the base to tank as in when you put the tank back together after filling the tank. Loosen that a lil(it won't leak... You for sure need to make the base to 510 connection tight.:)

I thought you meant the coil to the base... I haven't had enough coffee or nicotine yet this AM! LOL!

On the base to tank, yes I always go till tight, then back it off a half to full turn so that the wick holes in the coil line up with the openings in the chimney.
