Polypropylene Tubing for DCTanks

I couldn't find my previous post, so I am reposting.

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the tubes on the DCTanks. I am truly looking for polypropylene, the plastic that syringes are made of, because they will not crack like polycarbonate will with certain juices.

As near as I can tell, it's a metric measurement, 18mm id x 20mm od. I have checked with McMasters and USPlastics, and they can't make it. I haven't cracked any tanks yet, but I just don't trust polycarbonate. I want to retube all of my tanks with polypropylene, so I don't have to deal with polycarbonate anymore. I diy, and I vape a huge variety of fruits, and I don't want to worry about many of my tart fruit juices cracking my tanks.

I just got 4-1' lengths of polycarbonate tubing 5/8" id x 3/4" od from McMaster's for my liquinators and Lil mama tanks. It's fantastic, looks like frosted glass, very nice. The 1' lengths had a very slight curve, but when cut to the proper length, it's just fine, and really sturdy.

I am also searching for tubes made of pp. I searched in Germany and could not find it here or elsewhere.

This is good news! I just finished a coop for DCTanks, but these were the polycarbonate tanks. Perhaps I will contact my sales rep about these new ones and run another coop soon for these with the polypropylene tubes.

I asked Dave from Smoktech at the German Forum DTF, if we can get the tubes only but he did not give me e clear answer. But the tubes will be the same size like the first DCT. So if you buy one with the pp tubes and the metal finish, you can change it with the delrin top ones.

Have you tried looking at animal feeding tubes.

sounds like it might be 3/16 ID x 1/16 thickness do those hundredths of mm matter?

I wouldn't mind getting new tanks with the delrin caps and PP tubes, no cartos. In that case, I'd resell the tanks I have with polycarbonate tubing. I cut mine down to fit a Boge carto. I just don't like the dual coil cartos.

No, I haven't looked at those, but it's a good avenue to research.

Pyrex tanks are more expensive, and I tend to drop things. LOL

I am also using one of my three DCT with Boge cartos.
This was the reason why i searched for tubes, before i find the advantages of the pp. I dont want to cut the the "orginal" tubes. After i could not find fitting tubes, i cutted one tube down to fit the Boge carto.

I got an email from a Smoktech rep this morning saying that the tubing size that is used on their DCTanks is proprietary. We are not likely to find anything in the dimensions required to fit their tanks.
